  • Plazuela de la Memoria Trans - Savor a drink and a couple of delicious tapas at this initial local bar. Your guide will describe each item as you enjoy them.
  • Calle de Apodaca - Relish a drink and tapa at this straightforward local restaurant and bar. Your guide will explain each item as you savor them.
  • Calle de Pelayo - Have a drink and a tapa at this third, smaller local bar on Calle Pelayo, a street lined with several bars, restaurants, and shops. The street is also famous for the notorious High Heel Race during Madrid’s annual Gay Pride.
  • Calle de Hortaleza - Move away from the restaurants and bars as you enter a neighborhood market for this fourth stop. This is where locals shop for daily groceries and gourmet items, or simply to eat and drink at various food stalls.

Great LGBT Tapas Experience - The tour guide was really knowledgable and did a great job at explaining tapas culture and the LGBT bars in the neighbourhood. A great tour for solo travelers looking to meet people or a group of friends.

Beyond expectations - It was a great experience to get to know some of the hottest tapas places in vibrant Madrid. We started tasting some tapas and wines from different Spanish regions and we ended up having a typical Spanish dinner in a restaurant in Chueca. The whole team made it extremely special and it was of great fun with the rest of participants. Super recommendable to know better the Spanish culture and beautiful Madrid.

Chueca-town - Really good choices of bars and restaurants. Our guide Isaac took us on his journey of Madrid through the years, allowing us to experience the city in the eyes of a local, in the know. By the time we got to the last stop on the tour, we were well fed, but had room for that Galician Witches’ Brew- Queimada!! Highly recommended to get to know Spanish tapas and the iconic Chueca neighborhood!
