Well worth having a tour guide - We had a fantastic tour guide for this experience. He provided very interesting information about the local area and also had a lot of knowledge about the history of the palace and Madrid. Well worth having a tour guide. Would highly recommend.

Great experience! - Maria, our tour guide, was wonderful! She took the time to explain everything about Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace of Madrid. She was mindful about everyone’s safety and made sure our group stayed together. Her English was very good and I had no problem understanding her. She also answered every question she was asked. 👏🏼 The company called me the day before and let me know the time was changed by an hour due to rain in Madrid. Fortunately, the rain subsided to a drizzle so, walking around was not a problem. They definitely know what they’re doing! I definitely recommend them. 👍🏼

Wonderful Tour with Sara - Sarah was absolutely wonderful. The amount of knowledge that she has is on unsurpassed. We learned a lot . It was small viejo of 8 which makes it worth the price .

Good tour of the Palace - Although the group was large and half the time the microphone didn’t work, our tour guide did a great job.

Excellent Tour of the Plaza Major Neighborhood and Palace - Our tour guide, Sergio, was wonderful. He explained everything very clearly. We learned much more about the Plaza Mayor neighborhood and the Royal Palace than we would have if we had just toured on our own.

Great Tour! - Really enjoyed the tour given by Maria! We were able to hear her very well and she was very knowledgeable. The tour was a good pace and we really enjoyed it.

Concise, but good enough tour -- Not for mobility challenged people - We enjoyed this tour since we could walk through the historical (old) part of Madrid on the vicinities of the Royal Palace. Then we entered the Royal Palace without making any line whatsoever. The only complain was the audio system that lacked the strength or quality to hear everything. (One star down for it) The guide was very knowledgeable and kind and we could ask as many questions as we wanted. I'd recommend this tour for people able of walking a mile or two without any problems. If you are unable to walk long distances, this tour is not for you.

Exploring Madrids past and Royal Palace - Exploring parts of Madrids past on our way to the Royal Palace with our guide Maria was very interesting and informative. She really knew her subject, giving us all just enough information, but not too much. On the tour of the Palace, we learned about the palaces past and present Kings and queens along with some of the historyof the region. The Palace itself was incredibly. The decor was something to behold. Definitely a must do tour in our opinion.

cancelled tour - we were told 3 days before the tour that the palace was closed for 2 days and therefore couldn't take the tour. Surely they would have known this a long time before and we had to make other arrangements as we couldn't make the alternative date offered.
