The Church of La Vera Cruz is located on the outskirts of the historic center of Segovia, in a place known as โ€œEl Parralโ€. It is a Romanesque-Mudejar style temple and is considered one of the most important examples of this architectural style in Spain.

The church was built at the end of the 12th century and is known for its octagonal plan, which differentiates it from other religious buildings of the time. The octagonal plan is believed to represent the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and is a distinctive feature of this church.

The exterior of the Church of the Vera Cruz has a simple but impressive design. The blind arches and horseshoe-shaped windows characteristic of the Mudejar style stand out. Inside, you will find an octagonal central nave and a main altar that houses an image of the Virgin of the True Cross.
