Great value! Take this tour! - We had an excellent experience going to the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins with Toucan Tours! We followed the instructions to find the meeting point. We were able to ask a few staff members at the port for some guidance and clarification and were quickly pointed in the right direction. We rode in a very clean, comfortable, and air conditioned van. Victor was an excellent driver and got us to each destination quickly and safely. Carlos was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided interesting facts about the ruins and nature around the area. After the ruins we stopped by a roadside fruit stand for pineapple with chili. It was delicious! Our group opted to go to the beach as part of the tour. There were several restaurants and a walkable area with shops and souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour! It was a great deal and the group was small (about 15 people). Take this tour! You won’t regret it!

Excellent adventure you don't want to miss! - My tour guide Carlos and driver Victor were excellent! Carlos was very knowledgeable and engaging. He stayed with us every step of the way. I loved that our group was small just my family of 5 and another family. I would definitely recommend to others.

Cruise excursion to the ruins - I am glad we chose this local excursion on our cruise. Carlos was our tour guide. He was funny and knowledgeable. He not only told us about the ruins but the local culture. We even stopped at a local fruit stand and the fruit was amazing. I highly recommend them.

Great guides for a fantastic trip - Victor and Carlos were amazing tour operators. They provided great stories about the ruins that were both informative and fun. Carlos took great care to keep our group on track and timed our activities with the other groups so that we were always doing something. Victor took great care in making sure we got where we needed to go in a timely fashion and that we were having fun. Loved the pineapple and chili by the roadside and the time at the beach. This provider is a great deal and I highly recommend visiting with them.

Chacchoben Mayan Ruins and beach - Toucan Tours was a great experience and I would use them again. It was an easy pick up from the port to their tour location where we got on the bus to begin our tour to the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins and then to the private beach resort. They provided drinks before the tour and water while on the tour. The tour guides were very friendly, knowledgable and easy going. Great people! Thank you for a great experience!

Terrific Tour - This was a nice tour. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was very knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of history about the area of Mexico, as well as, the history of the Mayans. Everyone at the company office was extremely friendly and helpful.

Appreciate the Experience - We had a great time on the tour. Carlos did a really good job of engaging the entire group and he was knowledgeable about the culture and history of area. My relatives recommended we visit the site and I'm glad we did. There was nothing negative about my experience and that is greatly appreciated. From a monkey, to a bat tree, to climbing the ruins themselves, it's what an excursion in Mexico should be like. Not to mention a couple of cervezas to boot.

Great tour guides - Great tour guides and very comfortable transportation. They were able to accommodate a family member with limited mobility. The only issue is that at the Mayan ruins, access is not wheelchair friendly. Otherwise it was a great trip.

Great family excursion! - This was a great trip for our family (kids 22, 18, and 15). We walked outside the port gates (very short distance) and found the Toucan Tours office. After a short wait, we boarded a comfy air conditioned bus. The trip to the site was pretty long (around an hour), but Elesio made the time go quickly as our guide! The ruins were amazing and we got lots of time to explore and take pictures! Elesio continued as our guide and gave us lots of great information. After visiting the ruins, we boarded the bus again and took the optional drive to the beach. The beach was great - white sand, great swimming area, and tons of free chairs with shade. There was even a waiter from a local eatery that walked around and took our food/drink orders. There were TONS of locals walking through the beach area selling things. Finally we drove back to the port in the bus. Would totally do this again!
