Mahmya Island is part of the Giftun Island National Park and lies in a beautiful landscape between the sea and the mountains . It is one of the most beautiful islands and is a perfect destination for snorkeling and diving. You will feel like you are snorkeling in a beautiful, colorful aquarium. The island has a beautiful sandy beach from which you can swim and snorkel. You also have the option of taking a small boat from the beach out to sea to explore the underwater world with the many colorful fish and beautiful reefs

Parasols are available on the island and are ready for you. There is also a restaurant where you will also have lunch. Enjoy your stay on the island and take time to relax and swim with Caribbean feelings. In the late afternoon you go back to the boat that will take you back to the port, where a shuttle vehicle will be waiting for you and will take you back to your hotel

Despite the name, Mahmya Island is not actually an island: it’s one section of Big Giftun Island in the Giftun Islands, off Hurghada’s Red Sea coast. Lounge on the sandy beaches; snorkel the coral reef from the beach or a boat; rent a “Sea-Spi’ glass-bottom watercraft; or eat and drink at the restaurants.

Relax on the beach of Mahmya Island whole day and have an unforgettable time. Mahmya Island is part of the Giftun Island National Park and lies in the middle of a charming landscape between sea and mountains. The island is one of the most beautiful snorkeling and diving areas in Egypt. You’ll snorkel and dive in a huge natural aquarium.

The best island i have ever seen - First, i can't recommend this Island enough but i am sure 100% you will be amazied from this gorgeous island and crystal water. The boat was perfect our guide was so funny. The lunch was open buffet and so delicious.

So gorgeous - I'm glad I chose Mahmya out of the three available beaches. The rooms were really clean, and we had been given the beds closest to the water. Beautiful seating areas, a beach bar, etc. While the food is mediocre, the Egyptian bread was amazing! The drinks are good. Of course, the gorgeous beach with its immaculately clear water and fine, white sand was the highlight. From the beach, you can snorkel well and swim right up to the coral. It felt like we were in the Maldives, such a beautiful place!

Flawless - Everything was flawless! I would like employees to let people know about two things. Apply sunscreen at least 60 minutes before swimming, and avoid touching the reefs. For men, it's a paradise, but it's bad for marine life. Many individuals are unaware of this.

A little slice of heaven! - My little girl forced us to stay in the water almost Day. While I was visiting Hurgada, I had the chance to snorkel offshore on this stunning island. From our Hurgada hotel, we had a private transfer to the beach club, where we boarded a gorgeous boat that transported us to the island. The 55-minute boat ride each way was breathtaking. There was plenty of space on the unpacked boat to lounge in the shade or take a sunbath. We changed from the large boat to a smaller motor boat to get us ashore when we got to the island. After receiving our snorkeling gear and being offered shaded sun loungers, we headed out into the shallow seas to investigate the snorkeling spots near the coast. After that, we spent fifteen minutes or so being carried back to the larger boat, where we were taken to much deeper water to snorkel amid the gorgeous marine life and coral. Although this was rather in-depth, the pros provided good monitoring and direction. We had a spotter speed boat with us that could help anyone in need right away, whether they were lost or simply exhausted. After about 45 minutes in these deep waters, we made our way back to the island for a much-needed lunch. Before we left for the leisurely boat ride back to the mainland and a private transfer back to Hurgada, there was one more chance to swim, sunbathe, snorkel in the shallow seas, or take a walk along the beach. What a fantastic day!

Mahmya is the best - The trip was in a very nice boat where you could choose whether you wanted to sit in the sun or not. All the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The snorkeling involved corals full of colors and shapes. You could see lots of amazing fish. We even saw dolphins on the boat! Mahmya is AMAZING: a peaceful and authentic place. The food was delicious. You can keep the snorkeling equipment until the end of the trip to enjoy on the beach. I would definitely come back if the price was lower. Don't hesitate and GO to Mahmya with Hurghada To Go!!!! An experience in every way!!!

Beautiful beach island - What an island! We went here as part of a boat trip from Hurghada. Lovely soft sand, plenty of shady umbrellas to relax under. The bar didn't serve alcohol but the soft drinks were welcome in the heat! The food was buffet style and very tasty. The views were incredible. In the water there was a sectioned off area for swimming with small areas of coral but few fish. There was also a small inflatable slide.

10/10 - I'm so glad I chose Mahmya out of the 3 beaches on offer. We had beds closest to the sea and the facilities were super clean. The beach bar, seating areas etc were nice. Drinks are good - food is just OK (apart from the Egyptian bread which was amazing!). The best part of course was the stunning beach - white soft sand and completely clear water. You can swim right up to the corals and do good snorkelling right from the beach. Beautiful place - we felt like we were in the Maldives!

Fantastic day in Mahmya - It was not my first visit to Mahmya Island. But as always we spent a fantastic, relaxing day. Great service, food, drinks, great chill-out music and massage. And all this in a wonderful place between turquoise water and white sand. I can't wait for the next visit.
