Heidelberg Castle - I did not go on the wine and cruising along the vines but only visited the Heidelberg Castle but could find Heidelberg Castle by itself! This is a ruin and a landmark in Heidelberg. The castle has been partially rebuilt since its demolition in the 1600s and 1700s. It is 260 feet up the Konigstubl mountain. It was built before 1214 and expanded into two castles in 1597, but a lightning bolt destroyed one castle in 1597.

Obviously You Are There So… - We were there as part of a tour. All guides were dressed in costumes. It was live narration and informative but I think you have to be “ into” that sort of thing. Great views of the city.
