An amazing trip! - Such an incredible experience and well worth the early start. You’re at the view point for a couple of hours, so lots of layers are needed as it can get quite cold during the night. You’re also able to hire blankets from the local merchants when you reach the view point too. There’s also a cafe just a 10 minute walk away if you get too cold. The crater is very impressive! Beware, it can be very dusty as horses tend to kick the dirt up when taking tourists to and from the crater. To get there and back takes about an hour via foot, including time spent at the crater too. After that, there’s a photo opportunity with the jeeps and your group before heading back to Malang or can choose to go and see Coban Pelangi (rainbow waterfall). Some snacks and drinks are provided throughout the trip. All the staff who run the tour are fantastic! So helpful and friendly.

Excellent Bromo Tour - Had an excellent tour to see Bromo. Would definitely recommend. Our driver Harry was very friendly and great for doing photos etc! Then our guide Andy was excellent and brought us to the best spots.

100% Recommended - I had a great time doing the Bromo Sunrise Tour with MADOR. It was the only option I could find to share the trip with others, since I was travelling solo, so this was very positive. The trip was amazing, we left the hostel around 01:00 AM and had a full day in a very nice scenario,, definetively worth it! Nice Jeep, nice driver, all was perfect!

Amazing experience - Having read other reviews and done a little research i was highly delighted by just how much fun , how careful and how well organised this tour was. My driver Hari (hope that's how you spell it) was bang on time and a brilliant driver , he knows how to navigate the tricky terrain even in the dark when other companies appeared to be racing around and rushing. We seemed to get the best parking spot and viewing spot for the sun rise with our guide. We stopped at a warung for drinks and fried banana. The area is so beautiful and the sunrise stunning , it's incredibly busy so go with these guys they organise it well. After sunrise we explored a little for photos and other viewpoints recommended by our guide. We stopped at another viewpoint on our decent for photos before heading down to the savanna and to the caldera/rim . This too well organised and a beautiful place. All I can say is book with this lot you won't be disappointed they really put the effort it and make it a special experience.

Great Bromo jeep tour with sunrise viewpoint - The Bromo Sunrise Jeep Tour with our guide Andy and his Jeep driver was really great! A huge thank you to both of them! The tour was well organized. Andy had everything under control and was always there to help! I can only recommend the tour. I booked the tour at the hostel. If you are a guest there, you even get a small discount. The hostel also has many other tour packages at fair prices.

We were taken by jeep. You need to ride a very hardy horse for a long time. But in general, the conditions for - The dawn on the volcano is amazing. We saw how nature wakes up. The photos turned out like real masterpieces. Early morning is a very good time to admire the beauty. We liked it very much. All photos seem unreal in beauty. After dawn, we saw and felt a real volcano. it's amazing!! Seeing a volcano from such a distance is probably a dream since childhood!! And this is delight.

Mount Bromo Tour - The tour went really well, our driver Hari was really kind and careful on the road. Once arrived at the viewpoint there are a lot of people but our great guide Andi found us a good spot and really took care of us throughout our experience (a big thank you to him), the breakfast planned was OK and climb to the top of the crater too. It's been a busy day even if waking up at midnight was difficult 😊

Exotic and beautiful volcanos, but too crowded - Our guide Andi and our driver were friendly, punctual, and professional. We got up to the viewing point in no time thanks to our skilled driver's ability to drive off-road in zero visibility fog. It was very crowded and busy with hundreds of other people gathered for the sunrise. From the viewing point, it's dark enough to see the Milky Way! We were lucky because the weather gave us clear skies for breathtaking views of Mt. Bromo along with picturesque low lying clouds surrounding the caldera. What I do want to point out, however, is the experience is very commercialized. It is peak season so there are many tourists. But it was sad to see how tourists, many who had just come from Bali, left piles of trash all over the national park. Mt. Bromo is a national treasure of Indonesia. It deserves more respect from it's visitors. Also, because of too many tourists who cannot be bothered to trek across the sand sea, vendors have brought horses to shuttle tourists to and from the base of the caldera. We witnessed these horses being abused, yelping in pain, and basically forced to carry tourists to the point of exhaustion. I'm thankful for our driver and guide and support local tour operators who have a business to run. But I really think Mt. Bromo has become a tourist trap and a lot of the problems with over-tourism in Bali is overflowing into Java now.

Must do the Bromo tour - It was a unique experience! Easy booking and communication via email and WhatsApp. Good driver, nice guide to the sunrise point. There are a lot of people on the road, but everything worked well and everyone was able to take their photo! You should join in!
