Acting as a magnifying glass, our 100% transparent kayaks provide the perfect opportunity to bask in the beauty of the western coastline and see the wonders of the ocean, without getting wet!
You’ll have an up-close look at the vibrant colors of our richest ecosystem. If you look up, you’ll see the breathtaking contrast between the Caribbean Sea and Saint Lucia’s world renowned Pitons.
If you do fancy getting wet, grab your snorkeling gear and dive straight in. Who knows, you may encounter some new furry friends on land too as we cruise the island’s Bat Cave.
Don’t forget to visit the Beacon Restaurant, one of the only self served, buffet styled restaurants with the most astounding backdrop. Please note that the buffet closes at 3:30pm daily.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

For those booking the 2:00pm tour, lunch will commence at 12:00pm at the Beacon Restaurant. After, we gather on the Soufriere Beach Park (meeting point) at 2:00pm. Alternatively, after the 10:00am tour, participants should head up to the restaurant for lunch.

Based on daily availability, solo bookings may receive a kayak of their own or assigned to seat with another solo kayaker.

Clear Kayak experience - Amazing experience! Our guide was the best! He took us to certain areas to snorkel and took pictures for us. It was a fun time.

Great Experience - The clear kayaks provide a great view and the tour was not too strenuous. Got to snorkel for about 45 minutes and saw lots of fish in very clear blue water. Would recommend for anyone wanting a little exercise and snorkeling whether on a cruise or staying on the island. Lunch also provided after the tour at the Beacon Restaurant.

Wonderful experience kayaking and snorkeling! - What an exciting adventure! We learnt to kayak and snorkeling in a few hours at beautiful Soufriere, St Lucia.
Transportation is not included so we took a taxi to the meeting point. Once we arrived, we got a short briefing and practiced on kayaking as well as a colour pictorial sheet to help identify fish and corals that we saw. We kayaked lesiurely for about 30-45 minutes until we arrived at the snorkeling point. Point to note, it's an extremely rocky area, so we had to be careful. It was our first time snorkeling and our tour guide, Yohanse was incredibly patient and pleasant teaching us. He got us to "trust" our life jackets and just enjoy the snorkeling. We understood why this area was chosen as there was a variety of fish as well as underwater fauna. Incredibly beautiful to see! We took swims in different areas to view the variety of fish but got caught up with the high tide as we were in the water for a long time. This made the return journey difficult. Perhaps our guide can manage our time so we return in calmer waters. All in all, this was an experience we were happy to have done with our experienced guide.

Unlike Anything You've Seen Before! - This was SO COOL! We did a LOT of kayaking - out on the water for about 3 hours - since we chose to only snorkel for about 20 minutes. Yohannsey was a fantastic guide and showed us EVERY DETAIL of the island - and the reef environment which we could see the whole time, just by looking through our boat. He took us to a great, secret spot to pull up and snorkel from. The lunch that was included was maybe the BEST FOOD WE HAD IN THE TWO WEEKS we were on the island, at the Beacon Restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great combination of kayaking and snorkeling - We booked this a couple of days in advance. When we got to the meeting point it turned out that we were the only couple on the tour, so got a private tour. Yohann, our guide, was great giving just enough information to make it interesting but keeping it light enough to feel chilled out. Because you are going to go into and out of the kayak on a small rocky beach, we appreciated our water shoes. Also worth noting that the meeting point is directly on Hummingbird beach. We were out on the water for over 2 hours and my husband was really impressed with the snorkeling: nobody else around and loads of activity under water. I enjoyed watching it all through the bottom of the kayak. We drove to the restaurant ourselves at the end and enjoyed a nice buffet lunch with great views. Overall, a great morning activity.

Amazing experience! - This was such a fun experience and one of the highlights of our ten day stay on the island. I’m not a strong swimmer and haven’t snorkeled before but I felt extremely comfortable and confident with our guide. Yohance took great care of us and had a life jacket ready for me when he saw me struggling with my mask. He was extremely attentive and friendly throughout the entire excursion. There was an abundance of beautiful fish to enjoy and to swim with. It was purely magical. The Beacon Restaurant was equally amazing with delicious food, friendly staff, and beautiful views. I strongly recommend this excursion to everyone. Tip: apply your sunscreen prior to the meetup at the beach so you can get going asap.

Friendly and relaxing - Our tour guide was amazing. There were cancelations and we ended up being the only couple there. The weather was not great however we were still able to see through the kayaks. We kayaked to a small beach area where we snorkeled and saw so much beautiful ocean life. The included lunch on the way back was delicious and the service was excellent. Transportation not included so be mindful of that when booking as we had to pay $220 for a trip to and from Zoetry for the excursion.

Awesome time well worth it! - We had an AMAZING time on this excursion! It was just us and our guide Yohance. The clear bottom kayaks were so neat and the snorkelling was wonderful. So many different kinds of fish to see. We did some cliff jumping after which was really a lot of fun. Yohance was an incredible guide, he was so friendly and kind and made the experience so fun.

Highly recommended adventure! - Yohance was an amazing guide. I had a wonderful time on this trip. Kayaking was fun and was provided everything needed to be safe and have fun. Life jacket, paddle, safe boat and even a dry bag for my stuff. The snorkeling was great. Yohance brought to a wonderful hidden spot. We were the only people snorkeling. The coral and fish were spectacular. I highly recommend this trip. I appreciated that he allows solo travelers to reserve a spot on his trips.

They don’t communicate - I did the drone photoshoot. The photos turned out AMAZING! Yohance was very nice & great. My only issues is I still haven’t received my edited photos that were part of the shoot. I also didn’t receive my video. Yohance stated it would only take about 1-2 for me to get the edited pictures back. After 2 weeks passed I reached out via What’s App, Instagram, and email because when I reached out I could never get an answer or response. It was so bad I got my bank involved to dispute the charges since my services were not fully rendered. This also happened to my best friend who had her shoot the same day as I did. I finally received a message back on What’s App. I was told there was a back log in editing & that I should get my pictures back by the end of this week (May 31st). I’ve been back from St. Lucia since May 12th. I understand if they’re short staffed or behind but, they are horrible at communicating. This is not cool for people who come & pay money and they don’t complete everything. Save your money & book the photoshoot elsewhere. Another friend of mine book with another company on the same beach & received her edited pictures in no time. I don’t know why Tropical Kayak Adventures can’t keep their word with what they offer. I will have to end up editing my own pictures. I hope this review saves someone some money.
