Very good experience with Ecoterra - We made the hike on the Mistic Hanging Bridges Tour. We booked on the Viator website a daytour with the Arenal 1968 hike before lunch and the Hanging Bridges hike in the afternoon. This tour was done with Ecoterra, and our guide Francisco. We were very happy about this decision and Francisco showed us e.g. a Mossy Mantis, a baby tarantula, a tiny blue jeans frog, a poisonous yellow snake on a leave below a Hanging Bridge, a pair of tucans and together we spotted some other creatures. He was equipped with a professional camera and because of this he could take pictures even when dawn was coming up. Finally he transferred his pictures on our cell phones and my wife and me were dropped off at our hotel. Pls make sure that all your important issues for a daytour will be covered by the agency and their tour operator. All in all, we very very glad about our booking and we highly recommend the agency, the tour operator the their tour guide Francisco !

Wonderful private tour with outstanding guide - Our family had an outstanding experience at Hanging Bridges. The area was stunningly beautiful and our guide was incredibly good at pointing out things we never would've seen on our own. He was very engaging and shared lots of great info with us. I'm so sorry that it's been a few months and I can't remember his name! Overall, a superb experience.

Amazing time in Costa Rica - Amazing rain forest scenery, lots of animals to see and the bridges are breath taking.. Alejandro was our tour guide and was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and so friendly. He took extra time to help my wife how was very afraid of heights and made her experience wonderful.

Beautiful and fun - Anthony was a fabulous guide! His love of the wonders of the rainforest made this tour so much fun. Would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing Tour - We ended up lucking out and getting a private tour as no one else had booked for the same day/time. Mainor was our tour guide and he's hands down the best! We were able to beat the crowd to the Hanging Bridges Park and enjoyed the place almost all to ourselves. Mainor is so knowledgeable about Costa Rica's wildlife/eco-system and his passion for Rainforest conservation made the tour that much more enjoyable.

Great service and informative guide - My husband has mobility issues and due to his meds schedule can't go on early am tours so I hired EcoTerra for a private tour of the Arenal Handing Bridges and then downtown La Fortuna for lunch. Our guide arrived on time, the transportation was clean and I felt the driver was safe. Because we were starting later in the day our guide was concerned that we wouldn't see much wild life. So while we didn't see monkeys/sloths, between my eagle eyed daughter and the guide we saw we saw plenty of other wild life. A 3 ft snake slithered over a friend's shoe (and he didn't scream) The benefit for us having a late start was there were very few other tourists on the trail. The tour was fantastic. Our guide was very knowledgeable and didn't try to hurry us along or have us stand for ages while he explained things. It was a perfect balance. As we went along the guide picked up the occasional price of trash- that's really amazing! He explained that he and some others from the company had already spent a few hours picking up trash along a trail in another park. He also discussed the various ways Costa Rica is trying to be ecologically conscious. An unexpected treat was his knowledge of photography tips- he showed me many really cool tricks on my Iphone and captured some great shots for me. After the tour we had a delicious treat of fresh fruits and then went into La Fortuna for lunch. Unfortunately our guide couldn't join us (he had a other tour) but he went into the restaurant and handled all the ordering before leaving. Our driver did join us for lunch and then took us back to hotel right as the rain POURED down. Perfect timing.
