I’m from Manarola, and I love sharing the history of Cinque Terre and its gem of a product, the wine! I’m a wine enthusiast, but especially a lover of Cinque Terre wine. I’ve been a sommelier for 15 years, and it’s incredibly moving to experience the scents and aromas in wine, to discern the differences. I can learn to appreciate every nuance. After a walk, it’s very interesting to taste wine products by the sea, where we were just before!

you have to arrive in church square of Manarola, after you take street near of river, and go stright of parking,before the bar take the third small bridge you can take on the left, and arrive in wine bar A pie de campu.

Excellent tasting and tour - The host is a sommelier born and bred in Cinque Terre, she is SUPER knowledgeable and friendly, we learned a lot. A great post beach, pre-dinner activity.

Yvonne’s knowledge was... - Yvonne’s knowledge was the highlight. She gave a great insight into making wine in Cinque Terre. The wine was beautiful.

Nice wines, great walk and intro to Cinque Terra vineyards - We booked for a slot later in the day to try some local wines and visit the vineyards.
Initially was a bit confused on the directions in the Tripadvisor app, but really easy to find on google maps and located towards the top of the hill before the car park.
At the session we had an initial introduction to the area, the history of wine in Cinque Terra and few videos of the local producers. Was nice as just a small group of people.
She shared a nice selection of 3 wines, and some cold water (much appreciated in the heat!) plus some tasty focaccia too.
We ended up on top of the hills in the middle of the vineyard with amazing views across the water, with choice to head back to the top of town or walk round the coast.
Lasted around an hour and a half which was perfect accompaniment to visiting Manarola without taking over the day.

Excellent introduction to 5terre wines - The wine tasting began with Yvonne providing a history of the area with a focus on the challenges and commitment local growers have made to produce the wines that define Manarola and Cinque Terre. We sampled 3 wines with excellent descriptions by Yvonne. We not only purchased two bottles to enjoy before we leave for Milan, but shipped so.e wine home to enjoy as part of a family celebration in July.

Wonderful wine, walk and talk! - Wine was great. Yvonne was incredible host and so knowledgeable. This was a great chance to get some history of Manarola, take a leisurely walk with Yvonne learning about the grapes, wineries and different vine locations.

We have a new... - We have a new appreciation for Cinque Terre wine with all the work that is involved in making it. We enjoyed our time at A pie de Campu. Yvonne was very informative and kind.
