Highlights
- Starbucks - California Garden Square - Join me as we navigate through my neighborhood, sampling all sorts of Filipino Street Food from restaurants and food vendors catering to true locals.
After a quick orientation at our meet up point, we’ll take a short ride via a Tricycle to the start of our food tour.
We will eat a wide selection of classic Filipino Street Food, from steamed dumplings, to grilled meat on skewers, to deep fried savory treats, to hearty stews, warm soups and sizzling delights. All washed down with various local juices and beer.
We cap off the experience with a nice, cool and sweet treat, before heading back to our starting point.
PS: If we’re lucky, we’ll be able to see the Balut man and if you’re brave, can have a taste of this infamous street food.

Special experience - We had so much fun with my family!! We tried many kind of food. Especially the quize we guess what the part of meat was really fun and exciting. Jian, our guide, are so nice. Our English are not enough, though, he kindly spoke to us. I realy appriciated that. We also had fun to walk around towm. Anyway, thank you for giving us special experience.

Amazing Filipino street food! - This is an amazing street food tour. All the food was delicious and it was great to pair it with the knowledge of the guide. My tour was with the owner himself, Jian, and he was incredibly knowledgable about the food presented and its history and significance in Filipino culture. I would highly recommend this tour and my next trip to Manila I will be getting the Chinatown tour his company offers

Excellent food tour! - I frequently use the Viator app while traveling around the world to participate in unique experiences. This one by far has been one of the BEST tours I have taken. Jian hosted the food tour and it was informative, adventurous and so fun! Lasted a couple of hours and was worth it. Along with being super adventurous and trying some new foods across the city he talked briefly about history of manilla and the food. Overall it was wonderful! Excellent vibes and I would 100% recommend trying this your! Can’t wait to be back one day!

Intro the Manila Street Food - This is a must do in Manila. If you want to sample Filipino foods that the locals eat, you have to book this food tour. Our guide Jian was amazing. Before the tour even began, Jian introduced himself and confirmed the meeting time and place. He was very knowledgeable about the foods and filipino history.
My family thought the tour was already ending but come to find out we were only midway. We only completed appetizers. We did not even start our main course yet. You will end this tour happy and with a full tummy. Amazing local tour. Jian you’re the best!!

Gastronomical fun with beers thrown in - Jian of explore Manila Tours did a great job in taking us to fantastic local food eateries giving us an amazing variety of food, history and fun. From our ride in local motor bikes to beers at the pool pub and karaoke the time went so quick. Great value Jian terrific guy who went out of his way to make the tour a memorable event. Well worthwhile.

The best food tour I've ever tried! - Could not recommend this tour more!!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our street food tour with Jian. It was my husband's first time in the Philippines and my first time trying street food. Jian made the experience so comfortable, educational, authentic and deeply enjoyable. His passion for food, history, and culture truly shined through on every aspect of the tour. We even got to ride in the tricycle and the Jeepney briefly!
We left with full tummies, snacks for later, and unforgettable memories. If you have to take only one food tour, highly highly recommend this one!

So much food I never would have discovered myself! - A wide range of philipino food & drink that i never would have found myself. So many options!
Not too much walking, and smooth transition from place to place - including fun local transport with zero hassles on paying for anything ourselves.
A first class experience that made me feel like a special guest of a friend! Jian is super knowledgeable about so many topics, and he really helped the group gel.

Food tour - Absolutely 💯
Jian my guide for the tour has an amazing love for his country and knowledge was extremely extensive which was great being my first time in philippines.
The package was well presented with complete satisfaction.
Jian is not your average guide he can make your experience feel like a long time friend and make you feel very comfortable and welcoming in his homeland.
