In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and head towards Tahanaoute, a village located at the base of the High Atlas Mountains, 35 km from Marrakech. Shortly after departing, you’ll begin to see Berber villages scattered throughout the Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be in Asni, where you’ll visit a Berber family to learn about their customs, culture, and way of life. Following this visit, we’ll continue our journey to explore more Berber villages, including one that was established 200 years ago. We’ll pause to take photos at Toubkal peak, the second-highest peak in Africa, standing at 4165 meters. The peaks of Toubkal are visible from both Marrakech and Imlil.
After our photo stop, we’ll proceed to witness more vibrant landscapes, including forests, valleys, orchards, and various trees such as quince, olive, prune, walnut, and almond, along with some wildlife.
Our journey will then take us to the Ourika Valley via a trail through the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop in the Ourika Valley and mountains, which rise to 1800 meters, to take more photos. Lunch will be enjoyed next to the Ourika River. Our adventure concludes here as we return to Marrakech. This trip is one of the best tours you can experience in Morocco.
