Fascinating insights into the mountain villages of the Atlas Mountains, great guide Driss - We had a wonderful guide in Driss, who not only knows the Atlas Mountains very well, but also gave us an insight into life in a mountain village. The accommodation in the guesthouse surprised us - we had expected a simple hut and got lovely rooms with private bathrooms. The tour is fascinating - one advantage is certainly that it is anything but crowded. Some of the paths are strenuous to walk - I recommend good hiking boots. You should be fit enough to climb a few meters in altitude, although Driss always adjusted the group's pace well! The food was more than sufficient and delicious. You should take a small backpack with you for drinks, as there are opportunities to buy water along the way. The rest of the luggage can be transported by a mule on request. We are very happy to have experienced this tour.

Omar Tinitin is worth every penny - Many years ago I was with a close friend of mine hiking around Morocco. We almost got lost in the mountains when a kind and amazing soul, Omar Tinitin, took us on an incredible journey through valleys of Toubkal. He showed us the villages, let us stay in his house with his family, cooked for us and everything. He did not have to do any of this because we initially didn't pay him. He was a stranger who was honestly just walking back to village from work and offered us help. At the end of the trip we were heading back to catch a van to Marrakech and I offered him money. He refused and insisted it was his pleasure and money was not the reason he did it. I still am in contact with Omar til this day. He truly cares about showing his village and home to visitors and was an incredible guide. Genuine, kind, funny, thoughtful, and many more. When you go on a tour be sure to ask for Omar. You definitely won't regret it.

For Hafida and Hassan - Hafida, you were the greatest guide I have ever met in my life. You created a family and joyful atmosphere. Your driver Hassan has proven to be extremely cautious in difficult terrain. I recommend you to anyone who wants to listen to your stories in Spanish, French or English. Thank you very much.

Amazing Value and Authentic Expierience! - This trip was absolutely beautiful and definitely reflected a true slice of Atlas Berber life. Our guide Mohammed was very nice, easygoing, and willing to tailor the trip and pace to our needs. We walked out of the Imlil valley into its neighbor valley, which was absolutely stunning and one is definitely missing out by staying near Imlil. We walked about 4-5 hours on both days, and I would describe the difficulty as easy-medium. The food was very good, especially at the guest house and restaurant in Imlil. The guest house itself was very clean and comfortable, and situated in a small village in the valley with little tourism (a welcome sight). We truly felt that we were off the beaten path and away from the typical Atlas tourist traps. In general I would recommend this trip for anyone seeking an authentic cultural experience with some light hiking.

Beautiful mountain trek - We had a great experience on our two day trek in mid March. This was our first time in Morocco so we did not really know what to expect. We did the hike as described. It was a bit challenging but not impossible. We had delicious meals along the way and did not encounter many other tourists. Our guide Mohammad often checked in with us on what we wanted to do next. The entire experience was beautiful and enjoyable. My only comments are that the tour agency provided us with very little information other than a meeting time and place, and they were difficult to contact. Also, we did not really stay with a family but in a separate guest house. It was very comfortable but did not feel like an immersive cultural experience. All locals we encountered were very kind though.

Must-do trip for nature lovers - Incredible trip. Pickup from Medina was easy and we arrived in the mountains in under 2 hours. The route was incredible and Mohamed was a brilliant guide. Easy enough for non-experienced. There was even a chef who cooked all of our meals and took our bags on a mule. The accommodation was lovely and in the most picturesque location I've ever stayed. Would thoroughly recommend!

Excellent trip. Lovely place. - Our guide for day 2, Omar, was wonderful. The food at the guest house was delicious. The views were amazing. Our guide for day 1, Mohammed, was ok, but too fast and too far ahead of us. We felt rushed.
