On this day tour to Desert Agafay & Atlas Mountains you will see the most amazing and beautiful places: Atlas Mountains, Tachdirt Valley, Ckik Valley, Amizmiz Valley, walk to Aroumd Village and visit many Berber Villages on, have tea with a berber family and learen about they life, walk up to the waterfalls and see a wonderful views of Mount Toubka. On this tour you have a chance to ride a camels and a visit to Argan women’s cooperative. After lunch we will drive to Desert Agafay to watch the breathtaking desert sunset and sip on a cup of mint tea. Enjoy some free time to relax or meditate before beginning the journey back to Marrakech.

The tour start at 9:00 AM, from your Accomodation or if you are satying in the Medina we can meet you at Restourant Cafe de France in Jema El fna square.

The Tour ended back in Marrakech around 17:00 PM

Embark on a day adventure to Desert Agafay and the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech, showcasing the highlights of this Moroccan city. This day trip will bring you to some spectacular and captivating locations like the Atlas Mountains, Tachdirt Valley, Ckik Valley, and Amizmiz Valley. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the Aroumd Village and several other Berber villages, savor a tea with a local Berber family and gain insight into their lifestyle. Enjoy a trek to the cascades and take in the stunning views of Mount Toubka. You can also opt for camel riding and will get the chance to see how Argan oil is produced at a women’s cooperative.

Post lunch, we will head to the Agafay Desert to take in the awe-inspiring desert sunset and enjoy a refreshing mint tea. Spare some time for relaxation or meditation before we start our trip back to Marrakech.

We begin our journey at 9:00 AM from your lodging or if your accommodation is in the Medina, we can assemble at the Restourant Cafe de France in Jema El fna square.

Our tour concludes around 5:00 PM back in Marrakeck.

Good walking shoes are recommended especially for the walk up to the waterfalls

Beautiful, historic day out - A beautiful day out along with a wonderful, mindful and kind tour guide named Idris. He taught us a lot about the Moroccan history is very knowledgeable. We all absolutely loved having him as our tour guide and will miss him very much as he made our experience feel very special.

Enriching day - Yassine was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. He answered any and every question with ease. It was a long, hot day but the mini bus had air conditioning and comfortable. I learned so much about Morocco and it's rich culture. You get so much for your money!

Awesome Sites! - This was a great tour. The van is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained with good air conditioning. We spent a suitable amount of time at the sites. The walking tour between the villages before have lunch was beautiful. Our guide for the walk was a friendly guy and paced the walk very well. The lunch was great as the food was so fresh and tasty. The camel ride was much fun. I recommend this for those wanting a mix of scenery, nature, and experiences.

Lovely activity! - This was a great activity! It is a bit cooler in the mountains, so it was nice to get out of the heat of Marrakech for a while. Our guide Driss was really great! We stopped at some nice viewpoints and got to ride a camel in traditional clothing. We also went to a place where they showed us how argan oil was made and what products were made with it. We also got to taste it with some Moroccan bread. Afterwards we made a small hike in a berbertown in the mountains, where our guide grew up. He took us to see a lovely little waterfall, which was very refreshing. Then we walked to the restaurant, where we had a delicious lunch. We had a great time on this activity!

Day in the atlas with camel ride at the top! - We visited the atlas with our Idriss Guide which is really great! Listening, attentive, adapts to the group. Driver Mohamed is also great! Quiet and safe driving! We were able to enjoy a beautiful camel ride with our children 5 and 8 years old and the hike in the atlas is great! We highly recommend this outing!

Very kind, thoughtful guides - Omar, our driver and rashid our tour guide were excellent. They were very kind and thoughtful to work with our family on a private tour and to work at our pace. It’s a long day and they can get very hot but they were so kind to make sure that we always were walking in the shade

Wonderful day trip to the Atlas mountains - Fantastic trip and great value for money for a full day. It was lovely to get out into the Atlas mountains and enjoy the cooler climate. Our driver was excellent and very safe. Our guide for the hike Babala was also fantastic. Definitely 5 stars for both. The journey and seeing Morroco outside of the city of Marrakech was a brilliant experience. Thank you to both our driver (sorry I'm unsure of his name) and Babala for a brilliant day. Highly recommend this trip.

Exhilarating adventure. - The trip was well organized and was picked up at the specified time. We went hiking up to the waterfall and although it was uphill it was relatively easy. After this we had Berber lunch and then on to the desert. Thankfully the AC was very effective as it was a very hot day. Seeing all the barren red wasteland and the various villages and ultimately arriving for the camel ride which was the best part of the trip. The day was a little longer than expected but this was more than well worth it!!!!

Great day but long ! - Great camel ride in the desert . Nice trip to Argan oil Cooperative . Nice ladies working there . Views of valleys interesting. Could have deleted the mountain trek part of tour as people so hot and time over ran thus having lunch at almost 4pm ! Long drive back to centre of Marrakesh arriving at 6pm. Ismail the tour guide very professional and knowledgable .
