• Koutoubia Mosque - The initial mosque was constructed in 1148 by Sultan Almohade Abdelmoumen after he conquered Marrakech. He later built a second version of similar size around 1158, which is the current structure, as the first was demolished. Yacoub Al-Mansour completed the minaret’s construction around 1195. The Koutoubia is regarded as a significant example of Almohad architecture and Moroccan mosque architecture in general. The 77-meter minaret features various geometric patterns and is topped with an arrow and metal orbs.
• Jemaa el-Fnaa - Jamaa Alfna Square is a renowned public square located in the southwest of Marrakech’s medina in Morocco. This traditional, vibrant, and lively spot, especially at night, draws over a million visitors annually.

Encircled by approximately 19 kilometers of ramparts built in 1122, the Marrakech Medina is a World Heritage Site and encompasses the entire historic center of the city. It is the oldest section of the city, also known as the Old Town. Until just over a century ago, all of Marrakech and its commercial activities were confined within these walls, before the city began its economic expansion.
