Highlights

Koutoubia Mosque - The Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakech and one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. Constructed in the 12th century, it stands as one of the oldest mosques in Morocco. The name translates to “mosque of the book trade.” During the Middle Ages, it served as the spiritual heart of the city… more information about the 5 pillars of Islam, women’s rights, ritual washing, and more about religion and religiosity in Morocco.

Cyber Parc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam - As you pass through the Koutoubia Gardens, you can see the ruins of the Almoravid Palace, a stunning example of Spanish-Moorish architecture, set within a charming two-hectare green space, primarily planted with rose bushes and bordered by romantic pathways.

Souk Semmarine - On the way to the SOUK, we will discuss the history of Riads in Morocco, the unique designs of house doors, the seven saints of Marrakesh, and the various languages spoken in Morocco.

Jemaa el-Fnaa - Known as the largest open-air restaurant in Morocco, this bustling square is the vibrant heart of the city and one of the most exhilarating and perhaps loudest places in the world.

The name “Jemaa el-Fnaa” translates to “assembly of the dead,” a reference to its past as an execution site. Today, it is also known as “Place of the Jugglers.”

The square transforms into a dazzling spectacle with jugglers, snake charmers, storytellers, fortune tellers, fire-eaters, dancers, musical groups with drums and lutes, and acrobats showcasing their talents. Trained monkeys, camels, and horses add to the lively atmosphere.

Marrakech at night - Experience Marrakech at night was an impressive experience. Once the sun sets, the city shows a whole new side with vibrant markets, illuminated palaces and a unique atmosphere. Our guide led us through narrow streets and hidden corners that unfold their charm especially in the dark. The tour was very well organized and gave us exciting insights into the cultural life of Marrakech. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see the city from a different angle.
