Highlights
  • Medina of Marrakesh - Founded in 1070–72 by the Almoravids, Marrakesh remained a political, economic and cultural centre for a long period. Its influence was felt throughout the western Muslim world, from North Africa to Andalusia. It has several impressive monuments dating from that period: the Koutoubiya Mosque, the Kasbah, the battlements, monumental doors, gardens, etc. Later architectural jewels include the Bandiâ Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, several great residences and Place Jamaâ El Fna, a veritable open-air theatre.

Marrakech Médina two hour shopping tour. - Indispensable to have a guide this knowledgeable, like "El Fartas" in the Medina maze and plaza. The shopping ranged from lamps, to clothing, olives, spices, rugs and many other goodies.

Eats & Treats ... Go for it. - My girlfriend & I joined this tour as we were looking for an authentic way to experience the local food without any aftermath issues. The tour was well structured, the quality of food was amazing, we would never of found it on our own. Ayoub, our guide, was informative and approaching. He made sure we were all having great fun. As a group of 8, he kept each one of us well informed and having fun. We highly recommend this tour.

It was an amazing experience with Ayoub - My Australian girlfriend and i wanted to try something different in Marrakech she was interested on a foody tour and shopping experience. We met Ayoub at Cafe de France then we started walking through the narrow alleys of the Medina,we tasted different type of moroccan food including Tanjia...then we head to a women cooperative to learn and discover some famous berber rugs, my girlfriend Irene was very interested to handicrafts and finally she bought two beautiful rugs one made in the high atlas mountains and the other from a nomadic tribe in the Sahara desert,it was so fun as we didn't feel any pushing and people in the cooperative were very friendly. Thank Ayoub for this unforgettable experience, we will definitely recommend you to our friends.

Great tour! - Organization was really flexible, when we had to change the date of the tour last minute! We had the best time exploring Marrakech during this tour. Our guide Issam really knew his way around Marrakech and was able to show us the real Marrakech. Also he had some really interesting stories. You get a great value for money as the tour in small groups (private in our case) and you will try some marrocan food and end with a nice lunch. All in all really nice tour, highly recommended.

Great way to meet the city - Great guide that led us to good food, all covered by the trip. Could have done without the rug/argan stops (basically they give you a short lesson, then try to sell you. just politely say no) but the stops at the olive, pastry, and mechoui were all delicious and great. Would definitely recommend to anyone to do this on their first day in the city - a great way to get a sense of the city before you dive in on your own.

Nice Introduction to Marrakesh for First-Timers - Ali was a knowledgable local guide who was welcoming, polite and relaxed. Lots of extras on our tour and he asked several times if there were some ‘stops’ we wanted to add or skip - so a nice chance to customize (depending on others in the group too). I bought a rug (my big purchase I had planned for), and it was nice to be taken to a respectable vendor. Along the way in the souk he was stopped for a hello several times so we knew he was a true local. I highly recommend this tour- a good one for the beginning of our stay in Marrakesh to get more familiar with local customs. Thanks!

Great food tour to discover the souk! - Atika was our guide this past Sunday and we had a lovely time with her. She took us through most of the souk which was lovely as there are many areas people will never find by themselves. It was super easy to ask her about things we'd see and she would also share great information with us. She even told us about what food stall to eat at (if we must lol) and what restaurants in the square were well priced. I enjoyed every stop we made for tastings and the final stop for Tanjia was delicious and generous! I recommend this tour if it's the first time you come to discover the souk because it can be overwhelming. Now I know what to look for and where to eat!
