A perfect day out! - This was a five star experience to the Atlas Mountains with our guide Elhoussain and driver Mustafa. We chose the private tour option and could therefore go at our own pace. We were taken to the women's cooperative where argan oil products are made and sold. We travelled through the beautiful scenery, stopping at view points to take photos. We made our way towards the highest berber village and walked the last 30 minutes to reach Elhoussain's family home where we were greeted by his mother, nephew and sister. His mother had prepared a delicious traditional tagine lunch which we ate in their dining room. Following this we were guided out of the other side of the village and walked to a small waterfall before being driven back to marrakech. This is an authentic and personal experience which gave insight into Berber traditions in addition to seeing the beautiful scenery.

The Best Tour! - Easily the best thing I did in Morocco! It was great to get out of the city for the day and our guide was so welcoming. It was fun to see a side of Morocco that many tourists don’t get to see. I highly recommend going on a Tuesday or Saturday to visit the farmer’s market if you’re able to. Also, the lunch we were served as part of our tour was absolutely delicious! I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was perfect!

Excellent small group tour - This was an excellent trip in all respects. ‘Ibri’, the guide spoke excellent English and was a really nice friendly guy. There were only five of us (2 English, 2 Belgians and 2 Argentinian) so it was easy to chat to Ibri all the time and he was very knowledgable. Trip up to the mountains had plenty of stops. When we got up into the mountains we did a 50 min walk (fairly easy along a dirt road) to his small village and had lunch at the house of one of his family. Excellent home cooked food eaten out on the terrace looking out onto snow-capped peaks (food included in the price) Another 50 min walk back to be picked upon another village (this time downhill and steeper so take good shoes) and then back to Marrakesh. This was more like a private tour with a friend in a 12 seater minibus - can’t recommend it enough

We would go again - We enjoyed this trip a lot. Ibri took a lot of time to answer all our questions. He was kind and fun. The food at his mother's place was amazing, and the view was stunning. We learned a lot about the area and we would highly recommend this trip.

Walking tour and amazing view - A great couple of hours walking up and down the mountain, through the villages in the area. Being in a small group made the experience more enjoyable and felt more unique. On the way visiting the Berber market was interesting. The lunch was great, and the view from their house is amazing and should be sold on postcards. Would recommend for anyone wanting a more interesting visit to the area than the usual bulk sold tourist trips.

Get away from Marrakech for a day :) - We enjoyed a lovely 1-Day trip with Hussein and our driver Abdullah to the Atlas mountains! Luckily we joined a very mixed group so we could get to know not only the region, but also follow travelers and locals to Morocco. Everything was super well organized and totally manageable hike-wise. Hussein welcomed us to his village and home and explained every little detail to us in multiple languages. There was water available, enough toilet breaks in between and the food from his sister was spectacular. I would absolutely recommend Hussein for this or any tour!
