Great! - Mohammed was also our tour guide and Moustafa our hiking guide in the mountains and both have done this top. We had a fantastic day and would recommend it to anyone. Tip: be prepared for a brisk hike in the mountains so don't wear slippers! The sturdy one was totally worth it and we will never forget this!

Amazing - It was fantastic. First we went to watch the pottery. Then we went to a berber house where argan oil was made. Afterwards we had lunch in a beautiful place after which we went hiking in the mountains. Make sure you wear good walking shoes. Someone in our group had clearly not read the explanation so everyone has to wait constantly. For the rest, definitely worth repeating.

Good value for money - Well organised trip - we went to some lovely view points for pictures, stopped at a traditional pottery studio, a woman's argan oil co-op (had some tea and snacks and saw them making the oil), had lunch by the river and then hiked up the waterfall. Was very pretty by the waterfall and good chance to cool down. The hike was not too strenuous but it was very hot (40°c!!!). Downside is that the place we stopped for lunch, food was a set menu for 120dh ( I didn't want to have 3 courses and I wasn't allowed to only order one dish, 120dh is also more expensive for lunch than we have spent anywhere else). Overall the trip was a good experience, especially for the price!!

Father-son excursion - A very long and arduous day... The A/R journey times far exceeded what had been announced, well beyond reasonable (Round trip more than 2 hours...). As for this unfortunate Ourika Valley, it is a sad symbol of the worst that mass tourism can have in store for a site that was probably originally sublime. Sad. Very sad... Go your way...

… - No point... Although the site is very beautiful, the locals have managed to make it a local tourist hotspot, turning dried-up rivers into real open-air souks. In addition, traffic on the hiking “path” is difficult, not because of the number of people using it, but rather because it is worthy of the Paris ring road during rush hour. Submitting to a Guide is absolutely useless, except for those who consider they have money to lose. The driver is obviously suffering from mythomania, and plunges you, against your will, into a real circuit of organized tourist racket. The advertised travel time is about 1h, but we took 3h... The reasons? A photo stop facing a beautiful view, this, but not exceptional. Vendors are waiting for you and will hardly let you go, until almost getting on the minibus to sell you their dirty stuff. Then a second stop, to sell you this time cosmetic products. We refused to participate and thought we would wait 15 minutes (time announced by the driver). We finally waited 1 hour outside the vehicle. Finally, on the way back, the driver announced a travel time of 40 minutes to 1 hour non-stop... but we stopped at a “Berber house”, without any interest according to those who had the courage to confront these tourist racketeers one last time (we refused to visit). Return to Marrakech announced at the beginning of the day for 4pm, we arrived there at 7:15pm. The only real positive of the day, wifi is available by car.
