- Martvili - A natural marvel in Georgia, with archaeological evidence suggesting it was once submerged by the sea and inhabited by dinosaurs (as claimed and demonstrated!). You can enjoy a long walk to the canyon’s bottom or explore it by boat. A must-see!
- Prometheus Cave - According to legend, Amirani (the Georgian counterpart of Prometheus) was chained to a mountain in the nearby gorge. Here, you can wander through over 1 km of illuminated caves and admire the stunning stalactites and stalagmites hanging from the ceiling of the scenic passage. For an even better experience, take a boat ride and sail through the cave’s turquoise waters. A fascinating adventure!
- Kutaisi - Once the capital of Georgia before the title moved back to Tbilisi, Kutaisi boasts a captivating atmosphere, rich history, culture, and hospitable people with a great sense of humor.
I suggest we stroll through the city center to see the White Bridge, opera house, and charming narrow streets of the old town.
- Tbilisi - The roundtrip commute from Tbilisi to Martvili, mostly on a new highway, takes about 7 hours.
