Highlights
  • Skadar Lake National Park - Overflowing past red-leaved water lilies and incredibly clear waters, a tranquil river lined with weeping trees meanders through vast grass thickets. Silver, red, and black fish swim gracefully in the water. With some luck, we might spot Dalmatian pelicans, grey and small egrets, large black and little cormorants, various ducks, and numerous other bird species, including a pair of swans residing along the route. This path remains crystal clear until mid-May. As the weather warms in May, the water darkens and becomes less transparent, but water lilies and other aquatic plants bloom, attracting more pelicans.
  • Moraca River Canyon - A scenic river lush with trees and bushes, often referred to as the Montenegrin Amazon.
  • Vranjina - We will circle the island of Vranina and visit its ancient monastery.
