A glimpse into The cowboy life - The horseback ride of the Desert Wonder Tour was a one of kind experience for us. Our guide Susan was super ponctual, very kind and extremely knowledgeable of the area. We learn a lot about life and living animals and trees in AZ, saw a coyote, a road runner, buffalo, Joshua trees, desert sand tornadoes... The horse ride was phenomenal. Jessica the horse master has her horses well trained, very docile, used to riders and the terrain. It was so much fun and relaxing riding them. This adventure was a perfect break from the 9-5. At lunch, you meet Cowboy Dave, great singer and awesome entertainer (Ask him about the Buffalo Head 😂😂😂). The whole crew was layback and fun to be around. We are planning on going to their campfire.

Fun Relaxed Adventure - The horseback ride adventure was just phenomenal! The whole day was perfectly planned and executed. Susan our tour guide was on time down to the second. She was super knowledgeable about the area. We did learn a lot over the 1 hour drive from Kingman. Jennifer the horse guide was excellent. Perfect directions from the get go, very safe and enjoyable ride, nice terrain, beautiful view, then the Buffalo.. and we saw some coyote and a roadrunner. Then lunch time, very cowboy oriented salon and food and that's where you'll meet cowboy Dave! That guy was hilarious... Ask him about the mounted Buffalo Head 😂😂😂 and he can sing! Very friendly team, family oriented fun, very relaxed and melts your stress away...

Awesome tour guide! - Could not have asked for a better guide than Mike. Being with him was easy, casual and felt like a friend of ours. Good conversation , and very knowledgeable about the area. Drives safe, as well. The horseback ride through Joshua Tree was an awesome experience. The views are incredible. Our trail guides were friendly. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend Mike and Desert Wonder tours. Thanks for making our trip memorable!

Horse back riding-Joshua Tree Forrest& singing cowboy - This excursion exceeded expectations. The staff were so helpful to me in allowing an inexperienced rider to ride these very gentle horses over rugged but beautiful terrain. The lunch at the ranch for the singing cowboy was marvelous! He performed ballads and songs from my youth on request. I would recommend this tour and experience to any one.

Fun & relaxing day - nice break from gambling! - Jeremy, our guide, was on time and easy to find. He was a great safe driver and shared a lot of info about himself and the area. Very congenial guide - I've been on tours where the guide is just calling it in, but he was very present and invested in making our experience great! He even offered to stop so I could take pictures of some cattle! The horses were extremely well trained. I was nervous at first but wow! The horses were so gentle and responsive. Our trail guide was also super friendly, congenial and knowledgeable about the area. Lunch was a fantastic burger and the singing cowboy isn't really my thing, but he read the room and rather than sing alot he just chit chatted with us. The gallery we stopped at had a lot interesting pieces. I'm not a souvenir person but still bought two things. Really happy with this experience and will certainly book with Desert Wonders again when I'm back in Laughlin!

Disappointing - Grand Canyon Western Ranch : Our guide Bob was very kind. The horseback ride very pleasant and relaxing. The view of Spirit mountain was beautiful. Casey played nice cowboy songs and recounted the fascinating story behind the ranch. The « homemade » lunch on the other hand was disappointing. A very basic burger and industrial crisps, not even real French fries. Very ironic that Casey kept saying it was « real food » and not « fast food » right in our faces. Not worth 240$
