An Authentic Experience - Braulio was a fantastic guide. He was thorough with his information, passionate about the culture, personable and allowed us to see so many different sides of Medellin that it’s hard to imagine a better value for an experience like this. At no time did this feel like typical uninspired sight seeing, it felt like an adventure that I won’t soon forget.

Wish I had done this sooner! - After a couple weeks of living and working in Medellin, I felt a little trapped in my fancy, fun and very touristy neighborhood. And then I found Onygotours and Braulio opened Medellin up to me giving me accessibility through the metro system, an ironic reversal of how the metro has changed the lives of Paisas in disadvantaged neighborhoods ultimately “transforming” Medellin. Braulio has a wonderfully wide breadth of knowledge, everything from social and political to economics and history. More importantly, he is open and honest in a natural conversational way not a rehearsed tour guide script. This tour is a must-do!

Fantastic tour - Went on this tour with a small group this week to start off my experience of medillin. This was a fantastic way of getting to know the city. The tour guide is extremely well versed in the history of the city and socio-political issues of this area and gave a great overview of this. He was able to answer all random questions asked and was also a good laugh! He took us to some local markets where he knew lots of the vendors and we tried interesting fruits and local specialities. Very relaxed and educational tour. 5 stars- get on it!

Informative and inspiring - Thank you Braulio for a fascinating tour of Medellin. Your explanation of how the development of transport links affected the lives of disadvantaged communities was fascinating. Braulio is a highly articulate and entertaining guide who speaks about the transformation of his home city with great passion. He also has excellent English. The visit to the museum of Memory at the end of the tour was highly moving, made even more so by the wider context and explanation provided by Braulio. Highly recommended.

Exceptional tour of Medellin - I'm basing myself in Medellin for a couple of months and this was the perfect introduction to the city. It gave me incredible insight into the history of Medellin and the live transformation that is underway. Highlights include taking the cable car from San Antonio to see how Medellin is connecting previously disconnected barrios to economic opportunity, tasting a variety of local fruits in an El Centro Market and visiting the Museo Casa de la Memoria. Braulio was a fantastic guide. He was full of energy and great advice. It really made me feel at home in my new city for the next two months. I'm definitely keen to check out more of Onygotours.

Amazing city tour - Very nice tour with Praudio as our guide! This tour doesn't take you to the crowded city center but goes beyond that and shows how Medellin came the city it is today. Praudio could answer all of our questions and is so nice! The highlight of this tour were the fruit tastings in a local market and the shocking, yet amazing, Museo Casa de la Memoria.

Tour guide a no show - Not only did he not show up by he was apparently in the Hostel where we were supposed to meet and he sent an employee out to tell us he wasn’t taking us because not enough people signed up. It was a twenty minute walk to get there, so a call or at least coming out in person would have been appreciated.
