Fun all day trip to do from Medellin - Seeing the beautiful Colombian countryside during the ride was very nice. Climbing to the top of Guatapé is a must. The view is so cool! The first 150 steps are difficult but after that, not so bad.

Day trip to the rock & Guatape. - Juli, the tour guide was brilliant on the whole trip. From start to finish. The trip to the Rock was certainly interesting. The people like me did not climb the rock. they just stayed on the ground whilst the rest of the group climbed the 659 steps. Also went to Guatape where you could buy souvenirs. She advised us which were the best shops to buy souvenirs from and went to both. In Guatape, they had a street full of umbrellas. Brightly coloured buildings with paintings around the base of the houses. Thank you Juli for making the trip special. Went on a boat trip around the reservoir which was low on water.

Great day in Guatapé - Great guides and nice itinerary. Well organized. I even climbed the rock to the top...so push yourself to do it. Understand that it will be only an hour for free time in the town after a short tour, but I felt that was enough for my first visit. Lunch was very good. I think this tour was a nice value. I would definitely recommend.

Tatiana & Felipe are AMAZING - Trip is okay. The guides Tatiana and Felipe are really, really amazing. They are good. The value of the tour is 3 stars. Climbing the peñón is overrated. You get the same views from the restaurants at the base of the rock. Buy a drink and enjoy the free viewing points instead of climbing rock. The lunch included is okay. The boat ride is short, very short!! You have to climb and hike some hills to get there. Be prepared for that. You get an hour to walk around the town. It should be 90 minutes. You get what you pay for.
