ArtVo is an immersive art or ‘trick art’ gallery, where you are encouraged to touch the art and become part of the art by taking photographs from designated points on the floors of the gallery.
There are 9 themed zones to explore with over 80 hand painted immersive installations just minutes from Melbourne CBD.
And there’s a new theme - Fantasy - spanning the entire course of the gallery. The Fantasy theme will see people explore the ocean, polar ice caps, space and the forest. Plus, the dream like art will see some very exciting interactive experiences.
Getting to ArtVo is easy. Catch the tram- the free City Circle (35), 70 or 86 tram- to Waterfront City/Docklands stop D11 or jump in the car and head to The District Docklands East or West multi-level car parks, where parking is easy.

- Dress code is casual. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.

Amazing, Mind Blowing, Fun!!! - This has to be the best art experience ever! The Arts/paintings are so skilfully done, challenging the viewer to act and take photos. Loads of fun throughout the whole journey.

Worth every cent. - Worth every cent. This experience was great fun. What amazing talented artists. A must visit for anyone in the Melbourne area. It is important to follow the suggested ideas for photo layout and how to pose for the photo. But also appreciate the talents of the artist.

so fun - so fun to go through the rooms and have your pic taken. The pictures look amazing and you definitely part of the picture. I was on my own, not such a good idea as you need another person to take your photo. The team at the gallery were so friendly and accommodating and they were happy to help me out with having a team member go round with me, lucky me they could help me out on the day. Allow 1-2hrs to go round, I've already shared with friends who are going to Melbourne soon.

Fantastic experience! Very highly recommended! - Amazing experience..well worth a visit! Took us more than the suggested hour to make our way around the exhibit and fully experience everything artvo had to offer! Beautiful artworks and incredible pictures. Make sure your phone is fully charged and plenty of storage before you go!! Highly recommend Artvo as a place to visit!!

Must visit - We had a fun time at Artvo, we brought friends from insterstate and they enjoyed themselves as well. We got some great photos and made some wonderful memories, however, the closing times are quite early. It would be more convenient if it was open until later at least once or twice in the week.

Truly immersive and fun; needs retouching - We had a surprisingly good time at Artvo. The immersive paintings are interesting and relatively easy to step into, though more so for children and smaller more limber adults. Only complaint we have is that many of the paintings need to be retouched. Apparently no new paintings since covid, so +4 yrs old. Some of the lighting could also be adjusted to reduce glare. That aside, we really enjoyed the experience and recommend it.
