Absolutely Great Experience!! - Hernan, our tour guide and driver, was tremendous. He got us to Chichen Itza early enough to be at the head of the line when it opened. This meant that we saw the site before the hordes arrived. We got pictures without people in the way and also saw much of the site before the temperature heated up. Hernan was energetic, knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. We then had the distinct pleasure to go to a private (and fabulous) private cenote. What a treat! We were then also treated to a private scrumptious lunch at the cenote by the proprietors, a multi-generational Yucatecan family. So much fun! We then stopped in Izamal for an hour visit to the "yellow city." All in all, it was a long day but a fantastic day. All credit goes to Hernan for his organization, passion and knowledge for making this a wonderful experience.

Incredible experience - Our tour guide Delio and driver were incredibly kind and hospitable; they even dropped us off directly home after the tour due to thunderstorms. The tour felt very real and helped to introduce us to Mayan culture in a less "touristy" way, especially the cenote/dinner experience was very homey. Getting to Chichen Itza as early as we did was a must. By the time we were leaving, the line and crowds were huge, but we got in with no troubles and had amazing pictures. This tour was the highlight of our entire week in Merida thanks to the experience itself and tour guides.

Brilliant Yucutan Experience! - This tour was simply amazing. Nice early start at 6am, which meant our group were second in the queue to enter Chichen Itza when it opened. The early start is 100% worth it as you get to see the entire archaeological site and take photos well before the large crowds start entering. Next stop was a private cenote and lunch made by a local family. This experience was simply fantastic. First, you and your group are the only ones using the cenote, so again no large crowds. Secondly, you eat a meal prepared by a local family, using produce from their property. So fresh and tasty. The engagement with the family makes this a perfect experience. Last stop is in the golden town of Izamal. Here you can climb up to the top of a pyramid to get a spectacular view of the town. There is also a convent which you can enter and walk around, again offering Fantastic views. Hernan (our tour guide) was awesome. His knowledge both local and historical is worth the ticket price alone. He is such an amiable and good natured person, who wants everyone around him to thrive. I'm really grateful to Hernan for all of the experiences I got to enjoy on the tour.

Great tour - A very enjoyable and informative day. Our guide Hernan was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative was the heat, but the swim in the cenote was extra refreshing as a result. Lunch was excellent too, and it was really interesting to see the Mexican family’s home. I really appreciated the effort they made to accommodate my dietary needs. We learned a lot, and can definitely recommend this tour!

Unique full day experience, including Chichen Itza, private cento and Izamal, highly recommend! - The entire day was incredibly memorable. Hernan got our small group of 10 to Chichen Itza 15 minutes before it opened, so we were first in line to enter. That was a massive bonus to beat the crowds and the worsening heat. You absolutely want to get an early start before it gets overrun with other tour groups. Our next stop was at a private closed cenote in the backyard of a family home. While we swam, the family cooked us a traditional Yucatan meal. It was fresh and delicious, and, while I would not have expected/anticipated such, they happily catered to my vegetarian diet. I was blown away by the hospitatlity and kindness. Our final stop was to Izamal to climb the pyramid, explore the corn-yellow painted town and have an ice cream. A perfect ending to the day.

Highly recommend as it was all amazing and enjoyable. Great tour company. - This was the best way to see Chichen Itza. You are going to get up early. Accept it and know that it is the best because you get to Chichen Itza when it opens. That means it is cooler and you can actually get pictures before the masses of people arrive. Our guide Delio was very kind and very informative. The transportation was cool and comfortable. The cenote was awesome because it is still covered (in the cave) and private. The family served us a delicious meal and it was relaxing to sit in their courtyard. Izamal is a cute little town with a pyramid you can climb. Such a great day.

Hidden Gem of a tour - The Cenote and Food experience was fantastic. The food was great for anyone looking to experience eating like a local and meeting a wonderfully humble and welcoming family. The cenote in the center was memorable. Going down the stairs was a bit tricky so maybe not for someone with mobility issues.

This IS the BEST tour EVER!!! - ¡No encontrarás un mejor recorrido! ¡Comida, amigos, compras y aventura! You won’t find a better tour! Food, friends, shopping and adventure! We enjoyed every minute! The tour group was small, and very personal. We arrived at the ruins early before the crowds. Our tour guide, Hernan, was so knowledgeable about the history, the pyramids, and the people. There was plenty of time to shop and take beautiful pictures. We left as a flood of people came in. After a beautiful drive through the rain forest, we met the cutest local family. They taught us to make authentic Yucatán food. They let us swim in their private cenote. The water was cool and refreshing but not cold. It was fun to get to know the family personally. To finish the day we drove to a pyramid in Izamal that allowed us to climb to the top. It was really a beautiful finale to a wonderful day.
