Fun vibe, great food! - Manuel created a fun yet relaxed vibe for our afternoon exploring the markets. And, all of the food choices were amazing! My favorite was the first stop for agua fresca (try the dragonfruit mojito!) - it lasted the whole 2 - 3 hour tour. Nice to have something refreshing as you eat your way through Merida! Highly recommend - it's a great introduction to the city too.

A great guided tour - The guide was knowledgeable of the local products. She explained in details what the Mayan cuisine was and showed us all around the market. She was very kind and accommodating.

Amazing tour: eating as locals with good fun. - We had a wonderful food tour with Manuel. He walked with us over the local market and explained everything about what was for sale and produced by small shops very enthusiastically. He brought us to places where also the locals are eating. He was aware that eating all the 8 different dishes might be heavy on the stomach and offered sharing or lighther options to still make it work and at least taste all the special and interesting flavors. He also made us feel special and took good care we could experience this tour as a family.

Wonderful food tour with Alex - Our tour with Alex was one of our favorite experiences of our trip! He’s a lovely and knowledgeable person (and a chef!) who obviously has great relationships throughout the market we visited. He also made sure to accommodate two vegetarians - one who is allergic to avocado. We tried a great variety of Yucatecan dishes and had a wonderful time while doing it

A must do in Merida - Amazing tour! Alex was very knowledgeable and brought us to so many local places, bringing us through the historic center of Merida and around the bustling market. We tried many delicious things and we would absolutely do this tour again.

Good host, terrible food - My friend and I wanted a food tour in Mérida. Our host was lovely as was the walk thru the market but both my friend and I disliked pretty much everything we were offered except the drink and mango. I would not recommend nor would I ever go again.
