A must do in Merida - Amazing tour! Alex was very knowledgeable and brought us to so many local places, bringing us through the historic center of Merida and around the bustling market. We tried many delicious things and we would absolutely do this tour again.

Perfect way to experience the local food scene. - The tour was exactly what we were looking for, got to taste many local spots that we would have missed otherwise. Alex our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk too, would recommend to anybody looking for a good afternoon.

Fun Tour and So Much Food - Had an amazing time exploring and learning more about Mexican food heritage. Our guide Alex was awesome! A chef by training, he knew so much and you could see his genuine love of food and his home city. I would take a tour with him again without blinking to explore more food and history of Merida.
Advice - come hungry, this is not a sample tour. Full size and multiple delicious options. A choose your own adventure of food as everything is customizable.

Deliciously Informative - Had a great time and great food. Mike was an awesome tour guide. All of us were from different countries, but he made us all feel equally comfortable. Highly recommend the tour for anyone from foodies to food curious!

Enjoy real yucatan street food with an actual local chef - Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide than Alex! He’s a young chef who really knows the ins and outs of the Merida street food scene. He knows the local merchants by name and let’s you discover authentic Yucatan dishes in a 2.5 to 3 hour walk across the bustling market halls. Our group of people was rather small, so we had ample opportunity to ask Alex questions about the food and city life. And he was more than eager to answer them.
Be aware: you will try a LOT of different dishes, and the portions can be quite large sometimes. We would advice to skip breakfast - or lunch, if you take the afternoon tour - to fully appreciate all this sweet and savoury goodness.
