Fun, Informative, would take this tour again in a heartbeat! - My family and I had planned a 12 day trip to London and before we arrived I decided to plan a day trip to Liverpool! My daughter and I are huge fans! We had the best time!!! Communication was great and it was an easy train ride from London to Liverpool! We met our guide with ease. He was there on time and ready to go! If you take this excursion you MUST ask for Gary! He was knowledgeable, fun, caretaking, and we all felt like friends at the end of our trip! We HIGHLY recommend this tour!

A fab Beatles taxi tour - Gareth Byrne, my taxi guide, is an extremely friendly Beatles encyclopedic tour guide. I thought I knew a lot about the fab four, but Gareth showed me much I had only vague knowledge of and has memorabilia with him to illustrate all the things i did not know. He is also a liverpudlian whose accent is understandable! His tour cost was very reasonable, and i would happily recommend his services to anyone wishing to know about the Beatles. He takes great pictures of you at all of the famous sites! He is like a professional photographer. One caveat... just don't ask him about Liverpool football teams ... he's a Sale Sharks rugby fan! Thanks for making my business weekend great!

Fab by name, Fab by nature - This is certainly the way to do a Beatles tour; worth every penny!!! Besides going to the most famous places associated with the Fab Four, you also get taken to some real gems that you may never have heard of but tell some extradonairy stories. Our guide was Dave who was incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. He really catered the tour to our needs, first by picking us up from our hotel and dropping us back once finished, taking numerous photographs for us at every stop, taking us to sights in place of Paul's and John's childhood homes as we had been there the day before with the National Trust and allowing us to stop for a couple of comfort breaks. We saw everything from the childhood homes of Ringo and George, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields (has a great gift shop- be sure to buy a souvenir or two), the church hall where Paul and John first met, the graveyard where Eleanor Rigby is burried, the school where Paul and George attended and the art college that John went to just to name a few. Dave had many interesting stories that he shared with us during each stop and his booklet of photographs really ignited our imagination of how the events in these stories would have unfolded. My particular favourites were those involving Ringo and Yoko, who don't always get much of the attention. It was very easy to get in and out of Dave's taxi (which was called Martha- a nice nod to one of their songs). Could not have wished for a better experience, the only bad thing is that it had to come to an end.

Unbelievable - Peter was our tour guide and he was Fab! He brought us back to our youth and days of the Fab Four. We drove through the street of where the Beatles ran during growing up and their trip to fame and fortune. Peter was versed in all facts of the Beatles along with other forms of music. My husband, which is a trivia person, gave questions and Peter responded. Definitely do this trip down memory lane and relive your youth of when you first were introduced to the Beatles, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever.

Interesting Tour of Liverpool featuring the Beatles! - We were on a 12-day cruise with Princess Cruises. We had been to Liverpool before and taken the Ultimate Beatles Excursion with the cruise lines and was very disappointed. This time we hired a private company for a private tour to see all the Beatles sites our way. This was an exceptional Private 3 hour tour of Liverpool and The 4 Beatles. Our tour guide, Geoff, was well prepared and showed us everything I wanted to see and since our “ride” was a Taxi we could get down the streets that big coaches could not. Not one of our stops were crowded which was so surprising! The entire time Geoff has stories, music, and photos to enhance our experience. This excursion was the best excursion of our 12-day Cruise. We were the envy of all our travel mates as I shared my photos of the day.

Liverpool by Taxi was a Tour to Remember! - My husband and I were on a British Isle Cruise with Princess Cruises Sept. 23, 2022. We had been to Liverpool with a Cruise in 2019 and took a Beatles Tour through the Cruise Ship and was very disappointed! This time we decided to book a private tour with Viator (we had great tours with Viator in the past). I am so happy we did. Our tour guide, Geoff, met us at the cruise terminal and gave us a tour of a lifetime! He was so interested in showing us exactly what we wanted to see. His coach was clean and comfortable and he played the best Beatles music the whole time. The only way this would have been more fun is if we had a few more friends to share the fun with us. Do not miss out! Book this Tour and ask for Geoff as your guide!

Fantastic would definitely do it again - Our tour guide John was one of the best guys I’ve ever had and all my travels. Very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I would recommend this tour for everyone. I’d definitely recommend John. I have taken the bus tour in town but it doesn’t even come close.

Strawberry fields and how... - Strawberry fields and how it related to the song. We loved seeing the community where Ringo, John and Paul were raised.
