Highlights
  • Erg Chebbi Dunes - Hospitable and friendly nomads, who are experienced guides, will accompany you on the whole trip. They know the desert well and will share traditions and culture from the nomadic life style.

We will prepare all the necessary equipment, like tents, cooking equipment, food and drinks etc. During the days you will walk and ride on camels. In the afternoons, before the sun sets, you find a suitable place to set up a provisional camp for the night. The nomads set up the tents and cook dinner and tea on the camp fire. After dinner they play the traditional drums and sing and you are welcome to sing along. Sleep in a tent or outside under the stars.

In the mornings the nomads prepare breakfast, before you continue the trekking into the desert.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the desert silence, the freedom and be surrounded by amazing nature with spectacular sunsets and starlit nights.

A journey worth taking. - It was an amazing experience and I would recommend everyone stay a night or two in the desert. Riding a camel is certainly an experience.

Highlight of the Morocco holiday - The trip into the desert was the highlight of our Morocco trip. The camel ride will be remembered - it was just the right length, was well-instructed and led to an idyllic desert camp. The guides were very friendly and multi-talented, and also took excellent photographs. Sleeping in the camp was also very pleasant, and the food was very good and plentiful. An all-round successful experience.

Great experience - I would definitely recommend it! First we met in a hotel in the late afternoon and were driven in a jeep to the starting point with the dromedaries. Everyone got their own dromedary (there were five of us in total). A guide led the way on foot. In the middle of the tour we took a short break during which we could sandboard and take beautiful pictures of the sunset in the middle of the dunes. In the camp, which is on the edge of the dunes (incidentally, none of the other camps are in the dunes, but all on the edge), mint tea and snacks were waiting for us. There was a delicious and plentiful traditional dinner. At the end we drummed and sang around the campfire. Everyone was very friendly and interested. You could decide in advance whether you would ride back with the dromedaries the next morning or be driven back in the jeep. All in all, a great experience!

INCREDIBLE! - This tour was out of this world. I booked the luxury accommodations, and they were beyond my wildest expectations—AC, a shower, electricity throughout and a cozy bed. My camel guide Hassan was so wonderful and really took the time to make sure I could soak in the views of the dunes. The musical performances and dancing was so much fun! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone going to Merzouga. An absolute must.

Fantastic - Highly recommended tour, our Berber guide Said was truly very kind, competent and a great photographer (in addition to the fact that he spoke Italian very well). The spectacular camp, very nice tent, equipped with air conditioning, friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent and plentiful food

A life-changing experience - This tour should be in your bucket list, period. Just starting with the speechless landscapes you will see on your road there until the life-changing contact with the dessert, crossing it in camel while the sun comes down producing those orange and golden views of the dunes. The reception on the camp seems a movie scene, you got everything you need in your tent. The food, the tea, the music played for the Berber guys during the night, will transport you to stories you heard long time ago. Special thanks to Rachid who guided us in our language (Spanish) step by step through this adventure. Do not hesitate, go for it!

Average at best - The camel trek was a good experience and what we expected. The camp was unorganized and we were given no info on what to expect. The food was really slow to come out and staff were inattentive and forgetful. It seems that some of the staff had been smoking some hash.
