After the introduction you can cuddle and brush the donkeys and just enjoy their company in the beautiful surroundings of Monte Cresia. This magical experience is sure to make you return completely zen! During this experience, you will also have the chance to enjoy a delicious Sardinian picnic with local products and wine. If you want to have a vegetarian or vegan lunch, please indicate this at the time of booking. From Cagliari, take SS125 to Muravera. 3 km past San Gregorio, take the exit "Parco 7 Fradis." Drive 7 km until you reach a barrier at a T intersection. Park there (39.251891, 9.396454). Walk straight ahead on the sand road. After 400 meters, find Ovan & Ignazio with donkeys ( 39.247471, 9.394678).

A great experience - We had a wonderful time. The donkeys were very cute and cuddly. Surprisingly, my favourite one was an adult, although the small ones were of course particularly sweet!
The food was great, we were impressed with how many delicious things were available for us as vegetarians.
Ignazio, the farmer (and cook), was very sweet.
Ovan, the organiser/event host, cared a lot about everyone's wellbeing, made sure no one was missing anything, neither at the lunch table nor experiencing the donkeys or hearing his explanations. He also gave us a lot of helpful and interesting information about Sardinia and made us feel very welcome.
When we're coming back to Sardinia in September, we will definitely book another experience with him!

Wonderful experience with a delicious lunch! - Beautiful experience high in the mountains of Sardinia. You will first have the opportunity to walk among the donkeys and pet them. Then had a delicious lunch, made by the local shepherd who uses regional products. For us it was a wonderfully relaxing experience, which is wonderful if you have been staying on a busy cruise boat for a few days. Highly recommended!

Donkey cuddling - the highlight of our trip - This experience was amazing! The drive from the city Cagliari to Monte Cresia was wonderfully scenic. At Monte Cresia encountered a beautifully prepared table filled with delicious food and local decoration. Soon after we were surrounded by cuddly and cute donkeys. Our 3 years old daughter and everyone was so excited! The food, wine and vibe was absolutely amazing!!
Ovan & Marije were super responsive with email to clarify questions. To get to and from Monte Cresia we took a taxi in Cagliari. The taxi driver was very nice and waited for us at Monte Cresia, so we didn't have to worry about finding a taxi to get back (finding a taxi in Monte Cresia might be hard, it's in the middle of nature).
Overall, this was probably the highlight of our 1-week trip. Highly recommended experience!

Great experience - Want to book a visit for May 14th. Unfortunately too few registrations. Ultimately we were told that we could still connect on Friday, May 19! We are very happy. And the visit was definitely worth it. It was very nice for us to be received in Dutch. And everything was explained in Dutch. It is very nice to see how skilled they are with the donkeys and in dealing with the guests. I'm not going to explain it in detail because people have to experience that for themselves. But if we go to Sardinia again, I would definitely do this experience again!

Cozy variety in the mountains - Perfect for a relaxed lunch in the mountains! Delicious Sardinian food that will fill you up! From various types of cheese to bread, vegetables and salami to warm snacks such as salsiccia and game stew. Water and wine included.
Beautiful landscape! The donkeys look well-groomed and healthy! Nice guides who speak many languages, including German and English.
The place is partly not accessible by car, you have to walk about 400m from the car park. No internet reception, remember how you got here.
We thought it was great because it doesn't come across as a tourist attraction and is kept simple. Great for children too.
