- Piano Vetore - The Etna Trekking Day is a lovely open-air activity for all skill levels. After pick-up, we will drive to Mt. Etna and we will stop according to the chosen option:
- EASY – the most famous and the oldest natural trail, Monte Nero degli Zappini. It’s one of the best paths, because it offers scenic views, walking on old and recent lava eruptions, seeing some particular volcanic structures, and an immersion into a pinewood. We will then stop at a shelter, halfway on the trail, for a restoring break with panini (we can arrange different meals according to specific dietary requirements). The total length of the path is about 4KM and the total duration is about 3 hours. Shorter length of the path is possible. The activity includes transport and it’s subject to mountain weather conditions.
– TOP: we will drive to the cableway station (ticket included) and reach altitude of 2500m for an amazing view. On descent, we will stop at Crateri Silvestri and will walk to the edge and bottom of these ancient craters.

We’ve further enriched this experience by including a recuperative stopover featuring local cuisine (paninis), in keeping with the essence of our activity.

The EASY option offers a trekking experience of easy difficulty, it entails a walk along a volcanic trail, and presents an array of vistas and instances of volcanic activity. A rejuvenating break at a shelter with paninis is factored in.

The TOP option takes participants straight to the cableway for spectacular views, with minimal trekking or hiking involved. It includes a stroll around the rim and to the bottom of an ancient crater.
