Fun experience with family for wine tastings in Tuscany! - We had a great time visiting two wineries. Wines were enjoyable and tastings were generous. The group was quite large and the experience was longer than planned as a result. If planning this tour, be sure to not plan anything or catching a train as you may be late returning.

My family and I enjoyed... - My family and I enjoyed how eventful the winery was & how friendly the staff were. We also enjoyed the second winery the most, the wines, the interactive experiences, & the little bites that were served. Would highly recommend this tour to others.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. - Our guide for the day was friendly and knew her stuff. We went to 2 vineyards, both with good wine but the second, Poggio ai Laghi in Monteriggioni, was the best with good wines and plenty of snacks. The young host, Valeska, was knowledgeable about the vineyard and very funny. She had the whole party joining in the fun. It wasn't the right time of year to see much on the vines but the wine tasting made up for that! A visit to a nearby village completed the day. Would go again.

Great time - Such a great experience! 2 beautiful wineries and a quaint little village with great gelato. Wish there was a little more wine though.

lovely tour and gorgeous surroundings - Lovely tour of a couple of vineyards in the beautiful Chianti region. Freddie was a highly personable and knowledgeable host/guide for the trip and both wineries had a lovely selection of wines. The first winery was cheaper from a purchasing perspective, however the second had a much broader selection of wines and such, but was quite expensive so would suggest shopping at the first wineyard if you're on a more budget friendly trip.

Super Fun Day! - Super fun! Marco was a great! The first winery was small and had very good wine. It would’ve been better with more snacks. I recommend eating before the tour. The second winery was larger and had a nicer spread of snacks which included salami, bread and olive oil, crackers and Balsalmic vinegar. We were split up into smaller rooms with a host for each room. Our host made the experience so much fun. She was engaging, got everyone involved and participating. The downside of this tour is we did not have enough time at each winery. We felt rushed to get from the 1st winery to the 2nd and then from the 2nd to the castle. We wanted time to take pictures and relax at each place. By the time we were through the line for ordering wine to be shipped home or taking some with you we only had a few minutes for pictures. Overall I recommend this tour!

Great variety, decent group size. - First, you have to take a tram to get to the meeting spot but that was cheap, easy, and meant we did not spend the first 30 minutes of the tour in Florentine traffic. This is stated in the tour but definitely don’t let it stop you. Second, you see two wineries: one Classico (traditional Chianti) and one more modern. This means you see the range of wines from the region which is appreciated. Third, the castle you visit is beautiful but you only have time to do 1-2 things. Not an issue but good to know going in that you are not going to be able to walk the wall AND have gelato AND have a glass of wine at the enoteca AND visit the other areas. Finally, group size. I think we were like 19. This is medium sized for most tours and because you really are just driven to a couple of wineries it doesn’t impact the experience.
