The city is located on the scenic Bay of Naples, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the iconic Mount Vesuvius in the distance. Naples is renowned for its architectural splendor, featuring a blend of ancient ruins, grand palaces, and charming narrow streets.

A highlight of Naples is its historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can explore the narrow alleys and discover hidden gems, such as the famous San Gregorio Armeno street, known for its artisan workshops and shops selling handmade nativity scenes.

  • Vesuvius National Park - Mount Vesuvius is a renowned volcano in the Campania region of southern Italy, near Naples. As one of the world’s most famous and active volcanoes, Vesuvius holds significant geological and historical importance.

The volcano rises to about 1,281 meters (4,203 feet) and is known for its distinctive conical shape. Its slopes are covered in lush vegetation, contrasting sharply with the barren volcanic landscape at higher elevations.

Vesuvius gained global fame due to its catastrophic eruption in 79 AD, which buried the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum under layers of volcanic ash and pumice. This eruption, one of the deadliest volcanic disasters in history, preserved the cities remarkably well, providing archaeologists with a wealth of insights into ancient Roman life.

Today, Mount Vesuvius is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors intrigued by its geological wonders and historical significance.

Great Amalfi Trip including Positano and Ravello. - A great trip. Picked up in bus. 13 of us. First stop was Positano. Lovely place. I was concerned since we had to descend many stairs on a beautiful winding street of stores to the beach front. We thankfully never had to ascend. After hanging out some we got on a ferry to Amalfi. Had lunch there (included) and an optional small boat tour with our guide (additional 15Euro). Got back on bus and went to Ravello. Hung out and then were driven home. Had a great time!

A Captivating Journey along the Amalfi Coast - Our recent tour, left us speachless. Our driver & guide was Carmine, whose exceptional guidance and genuine passion for the region made this experience unforgettable. The natural beauty, rich history, and captivating charm of Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano made this place really worth-visiting. The time we were let to spend in each of the three towns was more than enough (approx. 1 and a half hour). Thus, we had time to do most of the activities suggested by Carmine in addition to having a coffee or a quick snack. Temperature was high, the sun was burning but thankfully the shuttle bus had well-functioning airconditioning. :-) In the end, we were treated to limoncello shots at the tour's end—a perfect way to toast to our unforgettable journey. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We left with cherished memories, a deeper understanding of the Amalfi Coast, and a desire to return as soon as possible. This tour comes highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable and authentic exploration of this stunning coastal region.

10/10 Experience - Went on Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano tour with David a few days ago and had one of the best experiences. David stopped at all the best places and slowed down at the many different views where we could not stop. The ride was very enjoyable as he kept the whole car engaged and shared many different stories throughout the ride. He stopped at many scenic views so we could take pictures and showed us the hidden lagoons of the coast. Would highly recommend him and will be going back on our next visit to Napoli.

Great day out with a great guide. - Carminé was an excellent driver and guide. We had a really good day, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Amalfi coast was beautiful. Amalfi and Positano were very crowded even in April but still very nice to visit. Ravello was much quieter and more relaxed. Would recommend this tour as it is a very comfortable way to see the Amalfi coast.

Amalfi Coast Experience - I’ve given this tour a 4 out of 5, but the driver, Carmine was excellent - a solid 5/5, he gave us good recommendations and it helped that there were only 5 of us on the tour. Ravello was beautiful and peaceful and the Cimbrone gardens were stunning. Amalfi was hectic, and busier but the cathedral was beautiful and the local ‘Lemon Delight’ was delicious. Positano itself, whilst pretty and great for the view isn’t really that special. Overall, I’d have preferred more time in Ravello. Glad to have done the trip but not sure I’d be too interested in revisiting these places.
