- Marina Grande - Main port of Capri that you will reach from Naples or Sorrento by ferry. Ferry takes 50/60 minutes. (if you already stay in Capri, your tour starts at the lobby and lasts 6 hours instead of 8)
- Blue Grotto - By convertible car or a shuttle bus (depends on your group number) reach The Blue Grotto, as your first stop (weather permitting, otherwise a sharing boat ride tour around the island will be included). The cave will leave you speechless. Lying on board a small boat you will enter inside the entrance of the cave is about one meter high. Its blue water reflects on the rock creating a splendid effect.
- Anacapri - Anacapri is the second stop of this day tour, a more peaceful place than Capri. Here you will also stop for lunch.
- Monte Solaro - From Mount Solaro you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Capri. In Ancapri, get on the chair lift and admire the landscape below with the Gulf of Naples and the Vesuvius in front.
- Piazza Umberto I - Piazza Umberto I is better known as the “Piazzetta”. Sitting at a bar table you can enjoy an aperitif or a good Neapolitan espresso and maybe find yourself sitting next to a celebrity.
- Giardini di Augusto - The Gardens of Augustus are a must to admire the symbol of the island of Capri, the rocks Faragioni. Follow your guide in a walking tour of the Gardens.
- Marina Grande - Here you will catch your ferry back to Naples or Sorrento. Ferry takes 50/60 minutes. (if you already stay in Capri, your tour ends at your hotel)

Embark on an exciting journey to the beautiful island of Capri via a fast ferry service, where a guide will greet you upon arrival. Traverse the renowned Mamma Mia cliffside road and capture unforgettable images. If the weather allows, you will be transferred into the mesmerizing Blue Grotto, also known as Grotta Azzurra, via a small boat to admire the radiant blue waters. The vast cave can only be accessed by a small boat due to its small entrance. Grab the chance to ride the chairlift from Anacapri to Monte Solaro’s peak for stunning island-wide panoramas. With a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of Mt. Vesuvius and Ischia Procida islands far off in the distance.
Subsequently, explore the gorgeous Villa San Michele along with its verdant gardens. While meandering, you’ll discover ancient artefacts tucked amidst the indigenous plant life. Follow this up with a visit to La Piazzetta, a charming square surrounded by boutiques and cafes.
Lastly, tour the magnificent Augustus Gardens, where you can relish breath-taking views. Soak in the sight of Faraglioni, Capri’s famed rock formations, before heading back home.

Best way to See Capri in a Day - Hands Down! - Luciana was an absolute Gem - amazing guide - so knowledgeable and mission oriented! She cared about making sure we got to see what WE wanted to see (not necessarily what everyone else sees/does on Capri). Talk about intimate local knowledge and insider know how about how to time when to go where, how to get you moved ahead of lines and past back-ups, which are the best stores for what, etc. - she is the queen of it, and seems to know everyone on Capri!! My daughter (19) and I had limited time (basically a day) to see this storied island and if we would have tried to do it on our own, or in any other way, I think we would have been extremely disappointed. We did decide that we absolutely want to come back sometime and spend more time on Capri, however! Such an incredibly beautiful place! We very Highly recommend this tour, and especially doing it with Luciana! I also have to say that both of the drivers that she lined us up with to get around on the island were superb as well. Excellent service all the way around! We felt so well taken care of the entire time. Don’t hesitate - well worth it!

Great Capri experience - I would highly recommend this tour company. The guides work together and the person who met us at the Sorrento ferry organized everyone and got us all on the ferry. Our guide was a local and his love of the island was evident! He was very knowledgeable and gave us great ideas on where to shop and eat. He kept us on track but we never felt rushed.

Incredible cruise excursion! - We had an unforgettable experience. The island of Capri is indescribable in words. The chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro and the views were unbelievable. We got to experience the blue grotto, which was also absolutely incredible. Our guide was very informational and got us around the island so we could experience everything we wanted to and much more. We cannot wait to go back and experience this again.

Incredible day exploring Capri! - We had an incredible tour guide who showed us so much! She walked at our pace and was so friendly and knowledgeable. She kept the adults and all the teens with us interested. We got to see and do so many things in one day.

Anna Maria was amazing - Anna Maria was exceptional, knowledgeable, funny and had all the insider information. We skipped lines and one person in our party of 8 didn’t want to do the chairlift so she created a different itinerary for her. We were able to skip the line for the blue grotto which was the highlight of the tour.

Highly recommend the private tour w Ana Maria - Anna María was five stars. She lives on the island and her family has rich history there. Tailored our tour to the right amount of time for my daughter Nina. Great to start early to beat the heat, we were able to get to the Blue Grotto to beat the crowds and she knows where to shop and why. Insider treatment for sure. Secured a great table for lunch. We loved every minute and Ana Maria was fabulous.

Amazing tour! - This was an amazing trip. Our guide Marcella worked so hard so we could see everything. The blue grotto was beautiful as was capri and Sorrento. We were on so many modes of transportation as we got every where we needed to go. It was amazing !

Our fabulous guide Luigi treated us like family, showing us all parts of the island. We weren’t blessed with conditions to enter the blue grotto, but the boat ride around the island made up for it. Bonus…no wait for the chairlift!! It’s a must…

Book This Tour! - Book this tour - you will absolutely love it! Tiziana was our guide and she was kind, funny, and so happy to take the day at our pace and let us stop for photos and in as many shops as we wanted. She also recommended a fantastic lunch restaurant that served the best baccalà I have ever had. Visiting the island with the tour also helped us skip the line to visiting the Blue Grotto, so we did not have to waste hours in line. The private driver, also included, had a convertible (which was so fun!) and helped us cover so much ground so we were able to visit so many sites in just one day. This tour and Capri were an absolute highlight of my trip to Italy. I hope to be able to go back again one day.
