Great way to get to three sites in 1 day! - Our driver was very friendly, shared information about areas we were passing and where we were going. Herculaneum was my favorite of the three as it was smaller, and more preserved. Mt Vesuvius was steeper and colder then we thought it would be and wish we hired a guide for Pompeii! Pompeii is so large we got so lost, missed the best parts because we got so lost and even having the paper map, and had to hurry to get to the meeting point, LOL! So happy we did the tour, thank you!

Great choice to see everything - This trip is excellent if you have a short amount of time to experience everything. This is self guided so go in knowing that. Also, make sure to grab a map in Pompeii and mark your meeting point. I didn’t and got so lost there. Plus, the crowds put me into a panic. I thought I missed the pickup and ugly girl cried. Fortunately, Vincent, the driver, called and texted me through the entire episode and went out of his way to find me. He made sure the group safely made it to each location and safely back to our meeting points. I would’ve had a terrible experience if it wasn’t for Vincent and instead, had a relaxing and memorable time at Herculaneum.

Amazing day! - Fantastic trip! The vehicle was clean and comfortable and our driver Vincenzo was friendly and courteous. It's alot to pack into one day, but if you have limited time, it's just wonderful to see all three locations in one day. Word of advice - eat a big breakfast and bring a packed lunch. We did neither, so had to spend some of our limited time in Pompeii queueing for sandwiches at the café!

Good service, timing could be better allocated - Its basically car service to get you to these 3 places. Our driver was great. 2 hour stop is definitely not enough time in Pompeii. I would reccomend doing 3 hours there and cutting the other 2 stops by 30 mins each.

Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day. - Vesuvius visit was good, and 1.5 hours was the right amount of time. Herculaneum visit was also good, but 2 hours could be reduced to 1 hour or 1.5 hours and some of the time given to Pompeii. 2 hours given to Pompeii visit but would be better to be a little longer, although we found it hard to figure out where on the map we were. It was very hot also, which made it very tiring. It is tiring doing all 3 visits on the same day.

Money driven driver - driver turned up in taxi van for tour. On taking us to Pompeii the group of 8 was informed we had to get a map and audio guide from the tourist office across the street to get entry for 10 euros each. On giving over tickets we were all given a free complimentary map to use. The guide then took us to Vesuvius and asked that if everyone paid him 5 euros each he'd stop at a restaurant he used with his family for dinner. When asked what they sold he couldn't tell us. We refused. On returning the guide took us to Herculaneum without speaking to us at all apart from saying he wasn't staying and another driver would come for us - but he would have stayed for the 40 euros. This isn't a tour. This is a driver that dumps you at each location without talking about it once. Ideally I want at least a part refund for the drivers behaviour and the pointless audio guides. Hopefully I'll get a productive response

Poor experience and service by driver - The main issue was the constant attempts to rip us and the others off. In Pompeii we were given a free map on entry. Why then did the driver take us to a tourist office literally across the road from Pompeii where we were told we had to buy a map and audio guide for entry at the price of 10 euros each. One party paid 40 euros for literally nothing. Then at Vesuvius we were told by the driver if we wanted we could stop an hour for dinner. If we all agreed it would cost us 5 euros each that would be paid direct to the driver. After refusing this and coming down from Vesuvius and after being willing to wait for us earlier for this dinner, the driver after taking us to Herculaneum informed us he wasn't taking us back and we would have to be picked up by someone else. Really poor experience and ideally I want for money back for being forced to buy audio guides that weren't given as a choice

Pricey for a disappointing trip with no Pompeii! - Overall disappointing end to the trip. The start of the trip was great visiting Vesuvius then Herculaneum. Finally we were dropped at Pompeii for 2:50pm, we had a quick look at some stalls outside nearby then went to the gates at 3:15pm. The gates were closed and we were told we weren’t allowed entry despite last entry being 3:30pm. Confused, we tried to contact our driver who eventually picked us up about 30mins earlier than originally planned so we still had to wait quite a while. We were then told we can use our tickets again tomorrow but have to pay for our own transport as “i suppose you dedicated more time for your lunch than for visiting” - when we didn’t even go for lunch.. An overall disappointing end to the trip, especially after paying over €500 euros.

Vesuvius,... as a postcard perhaps... - We booked for a tour of Herculaneum followed by the climb to Vesuvius. After the visit to Herculaneum, the driver of the minibus told us that the service we purchased on the internet (which is in no way the tickets) does not work due to a connection problem (a forgotten of the company's reservation ???)... Endless waiting in the minibus at the stop while waiting for the secretariat to find a solution... Everything was already booked that day. Impossible to visit Vesuvius. The company offered us. to come back another day... Impossible. We were taken to the parking lot at the top of Vesuvius (?) where we stayed for 20 minutes. Then we returned to Naples without having seen the crater. The driver, in good faith, did not want to hide the situation from us, as his secretary told him on the phone...
