- Piazza del Gesù Nuovo - After a full introduction of Italian and Campania wine history we will taste 2 different wines and will pair them with local snacks (cheese - meat bruschettas).
The most EXCITING part: During the event each of the tasters will tell about a favorite BOOK they, maybe with some quotes from it. Books like wines play a similar role in our lives. We “taste” both, then if we like them we proceed and try/read more and more. If we like the author/the producer, we try more of their wines/books.
Books and wine are also a PAIRING, so we will discuss the books and what wines the reading would pair well.
E.g. Agatha Christie “Crooked House” with Cabernet Sauvignon.
These events are usually fun and interactive, full of wine and books, memorable quotes and new additions to our wine/book lists!
IN CASE of a group of minimum 8 people, the event will take place in a wonderful terrace with a view on Vesuvio and the sea, and the menu will include 2 pastas made from the local host - Simona! :)

Attention WINE and BOOK lovers!
Books and wines play a similar role in our lives. We first taste both of them, then if we like the taste/writing style, story, we keep on reading/tasting. We will discuss which wines are BEST paired with book genres.
This is an interactive wine and book-based event. Firstly, with the help of a sommelier, the guests will discover the winemaking history of Italy and some important wine tips. We will pair 2 wines with local bruschettas with famous Italian salami and cheese (diet/vegetarian/vegan options are possible).
Children and under 18s ARE welcome, BUT instead of wine they can choose water/juice. The snacks will be the same.
In between the professional wine tasting, each guest will share their thoughts about a recent BOOK they have read and been impressed. They may share some memorable quotes. Then we will discuss what wines would be best paired with the books the guest mention.
This is a GREAT way of tasting LOCAL food and wine!
