Over priced and underwhelmed - Was made out like a great tour but loads was done by the excellent transport of tramvia and tickets which we could of bought. Transport is just shutting from place to place nothing to do with tours.

Mandatory destination - I've only been to Vesuvius: an obligatory destination if you go there, you have to walk a bit towards the crater but then the view makes up for it all!

Awesome - Vesuvius is amazing a testy climb but we'll worth it and Herculaneum was also amazing. It was a self guided trip and allowed you to see at own pace.

Great sites and a nice driver. - We were disappointed to discover that our time at Herculanium was restricted to 2 hours rather than the advertised 3.

2 great places to visit if you are short on time in Naples..with taxi service to both places and skip the line entries - This tour is basically a taxi service with entry fees paid in advance. Collection was on time, communications very effective..Nice clean a/c taxi etc...driver does not provide a guided tour or info on way to drop offs etc. Bruno our driver was very pleasant tho and answered all questions etc. If you are short on time in Naples then this is perfect..2 hours at Vesuvius and then dropped to Herculaneum for 2 hours and then returning to original point. Both had no queues and werent very busy so that was an advantage. Bruno dropped us in Naples City centre at a pizza place he recommended to us. But you could probably do it all separately if you wanted to save money.

Unorganized - The individual places were great, but I did not like the organization of Tramvia. It felt like too much was on the transportation service’s plate.

Disappointing start - The meeting arrangements were poor, it is a rough area and we had problems being harrased by vagrants, which made for an unpleasant start to the day not what we paid £200 for.

Not Recommended - This tour was not worth the money. It was basically a taxi to Herculaneum, a skip the line ticket (there was no line, even in August - Herculaneum is far less popular than Pompeii and in my view a better choice; taxi to Vesuvius, entry ticket and then taxi back to the meeting point. Be aware that the taxi driver is NOT a tour guide and cannot answer any questions. I was not comfortable with his driving. If you are OK with aggressive drivers, his driving will not bother you: driving over 130km in a 100km zone while tail-gating (driving really close to the vehicle in front to get them to change lanes and move out of his way), taking corners on a narrow, windy road at 75km instead of the recommended 40km. He dropped us off at both places and said “two hours back here”. No explanation as to where to go. Save your money and do the trip by train and shuttle bus and book your own entrance tickets on line. Easy to do and much, much less expensive. This way, you are not tied to a two hour window (I would have liked to have spent more time at Herculaneum) and you save money. Take cash to Vesuvius as there is no Wi-Fi and no way to pay by debit or credit card. There is only one washroom and it is located at the café, and you have to buy something in order to use it. The washroom was absolutely DISGUSTING 🤮. There was no water so you could not flush the toilet (and neither could all the people who used it before you!) or wash your hands. There was no toilet paper…

Unreliable dishonest - The tour agency did not show up and cancelled the tour last minute, I was not notified until I asked the hotel to call again. They just asked me to take the bus with printed tickets instead of a group shuttle/bus to those places. No show, crooked.
