A Very Nice Day in Torino - We were treated to a very educational tour of the Royal Palace and surrounding area of Torino by Alessandro. He was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He provided the proper mix of regional and city history, culture and local color. We highly recommend this tour for those who have just a couple of hours to spend at the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace, including the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, is worth the time. Afterwards, we ate a late lunch at a marvelous local restaurant on the recommendation of Alessandro. All in all, this was wonderful day trip to Torino.
