Return to the Teotihuacan pyramids after 50 years, a great tour - I had been to Teotihuacan before, 50 years ago! I was looking forward to returning with my wife, as I recalled very little from my previous visit. I contacted TripAdvisor to arrange a tour, I had not used them before. I made all arrangements on their website without a problem. I was given a confirmation of a pick-up time and pickup location, which was where we were staying in Polanco. On Friday morning, the driver showed up exactly on time. I was given his name and a photo of his car that morning before the pick-up. The drive to the pyramids was about an hour and our driver, Rene, was helpful pointing out landmarks on the way. We were given presentations about Agave liquor and obsidian before going to the pyramids. Our actual time at the pyramids was close to 3 hours. The best part was our guide, Susana Murillo Silva. She spoke good English and was very informative. She grew up in the area where the pyramids are located and was very passionate in her presentation. She used a notebook with many relevant photos and illustrations. She also involved our entire group of about 10 people in showing us how the acoustics worked near the pyramid of the Moon and other matters. She invited questions and let us know many pertinent facts about Teotihuacan and the ancient people who lived there. We felt very safe with the whole process of arranging the tour, going to and from the pyramids, and our visit to them. I give TripAdvisor, Viator, and our local contact Visita Teotihuacan Mexico an A plus rating. We enjoyed it very much.

Susana the best guide - Susana was spectacular, she shared a lot of knowledge and photos. 100% bilingual. Take the best panoramic photos and do sound tricks on the main altar. It's the best🤩

Save your money! - The driver was ok. The guide at the pyramids was very knowledgeable and friendly but we were expecting to see more of the pyramid and walk around, but we couldn't. We had to stay with the group and missed walking through the pyramid which was a bummer. There was lots of time spent standing for pictures and waiting for everyone else. If you actually want to explore the pyramids and get to see everything I would recommend NOT doing it here. Find your own driver. Also the restaurant they take you to afterwards is not good, the food has very little taste and the service is so slow.
