We will leave Mexico City first thing in the morning, to start our way to the Tolantongo Caves, in the state of Hidalgo. Once there, take a bath in its hot springs, visit the caves, estuaries, pools and waterfalls of this incredible natural paradise located 1280 meters above sea level. We will visit the “Hidden Paradise” section, made up of 40 thermal water pools and a pool with a slide. In addition, you will have access to the “Paradise Tunnel”, which consists of a suspension bridge, and a restaurant area, zip line, etc. With this tour suitable for the whole family, you will have the opportunity to spend a different day and combine the relaxation of the hot springs with hiking, adventure, etc. Be amazed by the natural wealth of Mexico and take spectacular photos! Enjoy your visit to Tolantongo Caves in a small group!

The place is very well organized, the food that restaurants sell because it is not very good but is edible - It is an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature and hot springs, I recommend you to bring shoes for water, water protector for your cell phone and / or GOPRO camera and a diving lamp or some other that is resistant to water to be able to illuminate if you decide to enter the caves

Amazing experience - This was such an amazing experience! So worth it. So our day started off a little rocky because it was raining and seemed like it would be raining all day. Carlo was our tour guide and despite the rain, he worked around all of it and made sure we got to see everything. Some rain didnt ruin our fun! The pools were a little busy so be mindful that you wont have the place to yourself but I dont mind! Rene was our driver and I have to say I have never felt safer. The roads to the Grutas are windy and mountainous but he drove carefully and swiftly and I was not worried one bit! Worth every penny.

Perfect tour - plenty of time to enjoy Tolantongo! - Alexa and the driver were AWESOME! Informative and professional and gave us plenty of time to experience Tolantango on our own. Took us to a spot for breakfast and to buy water shoes on the way. Just bring a towel, swimsuit, pesos and waterproof case (also for sale at water shoe spot). It was magical!!!

The best view, the grottoes, the cave is from another world. - Going there was the best decision, it is spectacular, it is a shame that I couldn't stay one night, the truth is that it would be more enjoyable that way, it is quite a distance for one day, for those who go by public transport I recommend taking the 9 o'clock bus :30am from Ixmi so you can take advantage of the day, since the next route is at 11:30 am. I would return without hesitation but I would stay.

Beautiful and relaxing - A beautiful place. One of those that you have to visit once in your life. If you want to spend a relaxing and comfortable day, you should go on a weekday. Check which days they provide maintenance because otherwise you will find some places closed.

Beautiful experience! - It was a beautiful experience! Definitely just be prepared to climb a lot of stairs and bring water shoes! I used waterproof sandles and I felt like the water shoes would've been a better choice. The caves were super cool but pitch black, so you'll want to use your phone's flashlight or a headlight. A waterproof pouch for your phone is necessary. There were a good amount of kids and families there, but everyone was respectful of each other's space. Make sure you see everything while you're there: the hot springs, the river bed (my favorite), the waterfall and the caves. The drive from Mexico City was long and bumpy, but I'd say it's worth it. If your tour guide stops at Pastes Rikos on the way back make sure to try the pastes de arroz con leches, so yummy!
