Thanks Oscar - We had a tour today by Oscar - really great tour and very informative. He had photos to demonstrate the history of different aspects, or, the inside to buildings we couldn’t see. Very well thought out tour and Oscar took the time to get to know everyone. He even shared a local sweet which was a wonderful touch! The only thing I don’t agree with is the continual pushing of “$200 tip/€12” - a tip should be what a tourist is happy to pay and to suggest that this “keeps up with European prices” is offensive. The cost of living here is different and if people want to pay a set amount for a tour then they will pay for one. I think this policy needs to be reviewed (online also,) as it causes offence and implies people can afford it when there is no awareness of people’s budgets. Personally I would have given more if I wasn’t felt obliged to give a certain amount. I haven’t affected the rating due as that would take away the effort he put in.

Don’t miss this tour….you will learn so much!!! - On this Kactus Tour, Areli was our guide. She was AWESOME!!! She had so many tips and personal stories in addition to the tour content. The Metropolitan Cathedral is beautiful and our tour guide had so many interesting stories to tell us about, I really liked hearing about the venom Jesus. Very interesting. Seeing the Aztec temple in the central part of the city that was discovered in the late 70’s was a treat! Areli had so much information about the discovery! The house of tiles was incredible and we did walk through it after our tour just like our guide suggested. It did not disappoint! The postal office is quite amazing! The story behind the guy who was in charge of building it all was very interesting. This was our favorite tour of Mexico City and we learned a lot! We totally recommend it! The tour was such a bargain, tip your guide well! :)

10/10 experience - We took a Walking Tour of the Historic Center of Mexico City. It was our first time in the city and we couldn’t be happier with our tour guide Oscar. He was really full of information about the city’s main attractions, gave us many fun facts about Mexico City, walked us through the history of the city and whole country of Mexico, gave us very useful tips about street food,… We booked a 2-hour tour, but ended up walking almost 3 hours through the downtown. He was really kind, fun and full of information. We took an english tour and his english was spotless.

Walk the walk. - Tomas, our guide was there on time and easy to spot with his green umbrella. The 3 hour walk suited us, as it was our first visit to Mexico City and it gave us some orientation and confidence to venture further. Tomas was excellent. He was informative and entertaining. For me, the highlight was the Post Office, the interior was stunning. A great way to start our first visit to Mexico City.

In-depth and Insightful Tour - Erica gave an in-depth tour of the city center, offering much more insight than if we'd done it on our own. We learned so many things, from how to identify quality street food to the history of quinceñara dresses. I would highly recommend!
