Best desert Tour ever - We booked a private four-day trip from Marrakech to the Zahar Dune with DesertBrise Travel. Coordinating and booking were handled individually through WhatsApp. The booking process is rather casual, requiring a small advance payment via Paypal, but I wholeheartedly recommend placing trust in Khalil; it truly pays off. Khalil's excellent command of English was immensely beneficial to us, which is not always a given in Morocco. Undoubtedly, the tour was the highlight of our Moroccan holiday. Our day and night in the desert left an indelible mark on us. We leisurely traversed by camel and swiftly by 4x4 through the savannah and desert, encountering a brief sandstorm, relishing the sunset atop the stunning Zahar dune with an unending expanse of dunes before us. We tried sandboarding, experienced an enchanting night camp in the desert adorned with fire, candles, and music. Our days were punctuated with exceptional meals, and Mohammed and his two friends showered us with hospitality. Khalil emerged as an extraordinary individual to us. His birth in the desert lends an authentic charm to his portrayal of nomadic culture. He operates in a socially responsible and sustainable manner, collaborating with friends, family, and local enterprises. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Khalil again, but we would plan to allocate more time for the experience next time around.
