One of the more dominate buildings surrounding Piazza Mercanti is the 13th century Palazzo della Ragione which dates back to Milan’s communal age.
  • Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - Every house has its living room, the place where guests are welcomed, the most beautiful room. And so Milan also has its “parlor”, the nineteenth-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Excellent tour, worth it - Sylvia was a wonderful guide. She gave interesting details to each location and didn’t walk too fast. She took the group through the downtown area of Milan to show the highlights and yet still provided stories and context for what we were seeing. It was an excellent way to get oriented to the city center. Also, the Last Supper was amazing, including the history of restoration and the WWII bombing.

Good way to see Milano - This is a three hour tour that starts at the last supper and then continues into some of the more iconic parts of Milano Noticed that the only museum that you’re going to enter is the last supper Everything else you will see from outside, which is very sufficient Our tour guide was an art historian that had knowledge of Florence history and art This is a pretty exhausting job and I didn’t feel like she was very uplifting but she did do a very good job of holding the group together answering questions and providing interesting information Important to add that I had a problem with my ticket which Vitar was not able to sell on their own but when I contact the operator directly, they were extremely helpful and were able to solve it
