OPERATIC PASSION - The detailed explanation that one would not expected to have known if the the tour had not been undertaken. Finally the love & passion of the tour leader was exemplary.

Well worth seeing! - We enjoyed the beauty of the theatre and seeing the model of the stage area and the mechanism that moves the stage and backdrops. Our guide, Ciara, was most knowledgeable of the theater and its history, both of the performances and the theater.

An engaging overview of Italian Opera heritage! - Guide Nina was great, she’s an expert and also a personable presenter. My spouse had “bailed” on me, so this became an ultra-small group format ….. Would loved to have spent more time in the actual Teatro La Scalla and architecture, etc., but rehearsals were in progress. So unfortunately limited us to only glimpses. Time spent in the museum will definitely bring you up to speed on key personalities (composers, patrons, performers…), trends, and lineages intertwined with LaScala’s nearly 250-year history. Maybe could have benefited from more summary “themes” and somewhat fewer specific facts, but If you are at least partially interested in this subject matter (as I am), then you will find these 90 minutes or so well spent…

Fabulous! Go early in the day! - This was an outstanding experience in every way! Our lovely guide was very knowledgeable and we even got to see part of a dress rehearsal during our tour. We took the 9:30 am tour so there were only a handful of visitors and we got VIP service.

Excellent Experience - Tiziana is a brilliant guide. She speaks English very well. We learned a lot about the history of the theater. Tiziana made it very interesting. We strongly recommend this tour.

Good guided small group tour of La Scala in Milan! - My husband and I wanted to see/learn about La Scala Theater during our first visit to Milan, so we took this guided small group tour. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable, easy to follow around the theater, and was able to get us access to see one of the private boxes that weren't open or properly lit, so that was nice.

Not worth the price. - La Scala Theatre is a beautiful building full of history. We could not see the actual theater area due to a performance ( I knew that could happen) but the rest of the guided tour to the museum was disappointing. Our guide was too soft spoken and spent almost half hour in front of a screen showing us slides. Did not really focus and everyone in the group was rolling their eyes.

Good tour but very dark inside - Good tour but dark. Not for everyone. Still very glad we went. Would have been better if house lights were even partly on. Also our guide was late. First time for that in all Viator tours we have done.
