Additional Information

As a seasoned scholar of History and Art History, I take immense pride in stating that starting from the 15th century, Italy became the birthplace of the Renaissance, a cultural movement admired for centuries across European nations. Despite efforts, countries like France and England couldn’t replicate our astounding beauties.

During that era, Italy was fragmented into various Kingdoms, Counties and alike. Acclaimed Kings, Dukes, and Lords loved to astonish their eminent foreign guests not only by showcasing magnificent monuments, palaces, breathtaking gardens, paintings, and sculptures but also through their rich culinary culture.

With my first-hand knowledge, your exploration of the hidden neighborhoods of Milan will be enriched. The tour concludes at an authentic local trattoria for an experience of wine and food tasting.

Kickstarting in the afternoon, this immersive 2-hour journey through the Brera district in the company of a passionate local guide is considered one of the best ways to explore Milan. Your gastronomical expedition will be led by a food enthusiast who will introduce you to exquisite Italian delicacies.

We offer a traditional Italian dessert too, to give your experience a sweet ending.

10/10 would recommend - We had an amazing time galavanting around the city, learning about the architecture and history of Milan. We ended the evening by stopping by 2 local restaurants who took primo care of us and had the best time learning more about the food and wine culture. Would recommend 10/10. Posh posh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Informative and tasty! - Really an excellent experience. Roberto honed in on the information I was interested and served it up on a grand platter. Extremely knowledgeable and informative, I highly recommend taking this tour if you are into history and art. The great wine and food made even better!

Great excursion - We loved this tour! Roberto took us to beautiful neighborhoods in Milan that we would never have discovered on our own. The wine tasting at the end of the tour was FABULOUS! Don’t hesitate to do this one.

Good Way to Get Your Bearings - I enjoyed this tour very much. I did it as one of the first activities and it was a great way to get my bearings in the city. I wouldn't consider this a food tour - there was a drink and some snacks at the beginning, and then some wine and snacks at the end. I most enjoyed exploring the Brera district and the highlights and history Roberto gave.

Great Tour! - Roberto conducted an outstanding tour. He was very personable and extremely informative. We came away with an excellent sense of Milan's history, culture and cuisine. The only small critique we have is that the stop at a small leather goods shop came with too much pressure to purchase something given the idiosyncratic nature (crocodile and ostrich skin?) and very high prices of the product.

Lots of heat, but not much fire - An interesting hour. I think we might have signed up for the wrong tour. We had lots of questions about art and history and food,, but he kept telling us that this isn’t that kind of tour. We hurried us through alleys and side streets, and we ended up in a restaurant with a broken fridge. It was the hottest time of the day, and he was struggling with the heat quite a bit. Maybe, on a different day, it would have been a better experience.

Stood up! - The part where our guide didn’t show up at the reserved time. I’m still waiting for my refund, and 24 hours later - I still have heard nothing.
