Give makgeolli a try! - We had a terrific time with Michelle at Union Station! She gave us a lot of great information about makgeolli and soju-how they’re made, history, and how to enjoy them. We tried about a dozen different kinds, along with some tasty snacks that she prepared for us. We even took turns on her makgeolli slushie machine. It was a lot of fun!

Great Korean traditional alcohol crash course. - Learned a lot about Korean alcohols. Plus, the tasting offerings were thoughtful, explanations thorough. Never tried a “house makgeolli” before, so I appreciated trying Union Station’s. The bar/brewer's vibe was warm, too. I hope I can go back for a makgeolli making class!
