One of the best foodie experiences ever! - We learned to cook arancini al ragu and Sicilian canoli with Barbara and her assistant on an outdoor kitchen on the side of Mt. Etna! I mean, it doesn't get much better than that! A foodie's dream-come-true, learning to prepare traditional foods in a dreamy setting--by far better than the movie Eat, Pray, Love. Barbara is extremely friendly, hospitable, fun, and always smiling and laughing. After our first meal, we walked down to the vineyards and happened to be there when they were harvesting grapes where we got a first hand view at how they're hand picked, and then hiked back up for meal two, cheeses, meats, bread, and more local cusine--and of course--more wine. Make sure when you visit to check out the glamping tent designed for bathroom breaks. Everything Barbara does is over-the-top excellent. If you visit Sicily, make sure to visit Barbara!!! An excellent experience!!!

Best Part of Sicily Trip - Barbara has an amazing property, right off of a beautiful vineyard with Mt. Etna in the background, incredibly picturesque. The food made was incredible, one of the best meals I have had in my life. Every ingredient incredibly fresh. They were able to cater to vegetarians too! The wine was so good. I didn’t think I liked Italian wine but turns out Mt. Etna changed my mind. The soils of Mt. Etna grow some amazing grapes. Barbara is a sweetheart and we loves talking to her and getting a tour of the local vineyard.

Barbara Liuzzo Vineyard - We had such a lovely time at Barbara's vineyard and learned so much about the growing of grapes on Mt. Etna. The 2 wines we tried were wonderful and went so well with our lunch. It was definitely a wonderful experience in food and culture.

Barbara's tasting and delicious cooking - We had a wonderful time walking thru the vineyards and enjoying a gorgeous tasting and pranzo on Barbara's terrace. A truly warm, yet exclusive experience. Couldn't recommend it more.

Wine tasting and touring on Etna, Get Your Etna makes the best of the way things turn out, highly recommended! - Barbara Liuzzo is incredible, so positive, lively and informative. My husband and I had arranged a tour and tasting of Benanti vineyards with Get Your Etna, and between the rain, fog and Etna ash, it wasn't possible to go into the vineyards and do our plan. But Barbara made the very best of the situation, inviting us into her home, cooking for us and tasting two small producer wines that were probably the best I had during my entire 2 weeks in Sicily! We learned a lot about not only wine, but the marriage of food and wine which is so important in Italy. We are looking forward to returning to Sicily in the future, and would definitely connect with Barbara and Get Your Etna for another Etna experience. Highly recommended!

A fabulous vineyard and lunch experience with a wonderful host - My husband and I just returned from two weeks in Sicily. Our travel consultant arranged the trip and set up what she told us was a "wine tasting/lunch" near Mt Etna. We didn't know what to expect, but having worked with that travel consultant several times, we were confident it would be great. And it turned out to be way more than great - it was fabulous. We met our host, Barbara, at the gates of the vineyard and walked through it with her, talking about wine making in that vineyard and on the slopes of Mt Etna. The location and views were spectacular. Then she led us to a lovely property next-door to the winery - and it turned out to be Barbara's home!! She had set up a table for two on her gorgeous patio and then served us a multi-course lunch, all home-cooked herself. (We learned later that she runs a cooking school there.) She served us so may different dishes, all of which were wonderful, and she spent time talking to us and answering all our questions on every topic. It was a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting, filled with great conversation with Barbara. We'll never forget our afternoon with Barbara - and we've already exchanged emails after arriving home. Amazing lunch at Barbara’sp - We had a lovely lunch at Barbara’s place after a tour around Mt. Etna. She couldn’t be more welcoming. She really went above and beyond to serve us (just the two of us!) an excellent meal in a stunning location above the village Milo with great views onto the sea and neighbouring vineyards. She was also very knowledgable about the wines of the area and the wine she chose for us went really well with the meal and the mood of the day. All in all an outstanding experience you shouldn’t miss. Also ask her about places to dine in the area. Her tips were absolutely spot on!

A superb cuisine after a great cycle up Mt Etna. - After a fabulous guided bike tour up Mt Etna, to the ski station, we returned to Milo for a delicious lunch. Barbara prepared a superb selection, all from her garden. With local meats and cheeses added. The setting was just wonderful and we fully enjoyed everything. We highly recommend this treat. Just Brilliant! Great location, great company and great experience! - When we booked this experience, we were expecting to be members of a modest sized group, and I suppose a mental picture of what to expect from some of the photographs. We had some contact from the hostess, Barbara, regarding allergies, etc and then on the day, we were given the precise location and directions. It was a little tricky to find it, even though, but it was so worth persevering! The house, the grounds and the environment were stunning and the hostess and host were so warm and welcoming. It transpired that we were the only guests and so this was to be a delightful private dining and wining experience. Barbara and Amilcare were just such a pleasant couple and so knowledgeable about Sicily, Etna, and the local town of Milo. In addition to their company, the numerous dishes and wines served, were gorgeous and presented with a great depth of knowledge as to their relevance to the area. It was so enthralling to learn about actually living and running a business in the shadow of the surprisingly active volcano that is Mt Etna. We immersed ourselves in Sicily during our visit, with a good number of trips and activities, but this was undoubtedly one of the highlights. Great value as well.

Best food by the Etna! - Barbara is amazing! My wife and I e-biked the Etna on our honey moon and had lunch at Barbara’s afterwards. The food was incredible and delicious. Barbara is so sweet, generous, and friendly. We will definitely go back when we visit Sicily again!
