We offer a hands-on ikebana class where you can learn the traditional art of ikebana. The centuries-old art of ikebana began with offerings of flowers before the Buddha and developed along with the samurai culture. Ikebana in the tokonoma (alcove) was once considered the highest form of hospitality. Experienced ikebana masters will explain the basics of ikebana, from how to use floral scissors and a kenzan to how to drain water, while you experience ikebana firsthand. The activity takes approximately 60 minutes.

Superb hospitality & guide to Japanese culture - Koboji 寺でHiroki Mirey さんと茶道と生け花を体験したのはとても素晴らしかったです。Tae Iwasawaさんの指導は私たちに日本文化の美しさを教えてくれました。また訪れるのを楽しみにしています. どうもありがとうございました. I was thrilled to experience Tea ceremony and Ikebana for 1st time along with Mr Hiroki Mirey, famous Artist. My dear friend Ms Tae Iwasawa, CEO of M/s Pineapple entertained us with her kind hospitality and expertise in these ancient Japanese traditions. I learned to appreciate the finer aspects of life & nature. I am looking forward to visiting this place again. Thank you
