Thoroughly enjoyed! - It was communicated in advance which national park we would visit. Driver details were also sent in advance. Driver reached the hotel before half an hour. He was pleasant and polite throughout. We saw many groups of elephants, with the youngest as young as 1 week old, the size of an adult pig! Driver himself took awesome photos of us and the elephants. All in all it was very pleasant and enjoyable!

Great Guide - Great Day - Today we experienced a unique trip to Minneryia and Polonnaruwa. We saw several groups of elephants and our guide/driver told us interesting information about these animals. He also always kept an eye out for other animals. Our driver planned the day according to our wishes and was very accommodating. only recommended!

Amazing day in the park! - AMAZING!!! Got the true wildlife experience today with Vijith in the park - wow! Saw the original old elephant family.. baby, mom, dad, grandma… saw about 40 elephants and a snake! He was awesome to spend the day with a truly unforgettable experience.

Amazing visit of Hurulu Eco Park with driver Kumara - Excellent tour with our driver Kumara! He was the best! We ended up visiting Hurulu Eco Park as they recommended to see more elephants there. Kumara was able to take as on paths away from the other jeeps and we saw so many elephants.

Elephant Safari - We went on an elephant safari today with Kümara. He told us a lot about the elephants and he also knew about other animals. We really enjoyed the safari and recommend it

A very efficient afternoon of elephant watching... - If you want to check wild elephants off your list in an afternoon, this is a good choice. We were informed by locals that Hurulu Eco Park was a better option at this time of year for seeing elephants than nearby Minneriya Natioinal Park. Sure enough, this is where we were taken by our guides. Though they spoke limited English, both (Kumara was the principal) were very professional and conscientious. There are a number of tour operators here and I noticed that our guides seemed to be better at spotting wildlife, particularly birds, and stopping to point them out than the others, who seemed focused primarily on finding the next elephant. Re elephants, we saw 50-60 in less than two hours. It was fantastic. This tour is very basic and the reviewer is not an outdoor enthusiast. One improvement the operator might consider is having binoculars to better experience the aforementioned birdlife. After the tour, we stopped in nearby Habarana for some refreshments. Kumara and his colleague happened to be driving by in our jeep, their workday complete. Nevertheless, they stopped to get our attention and greet us one last time. It was such a nice gesture and typical of Sri Lankan hospitality.

Great experience - It was so exiting! We can see many elephants. Our tour guide was very kind and friendly, so we had a great time! If we go to Sri Lanka, I'd like to join this tour. It is too hot in Sri Lanka, so you should wear clothes appropriate to the climate.

Up close to natures giants - It was an amazing private tour and we were picked up in our hotel. We got to see many elephants in the park and our guide did his best to find alternative spots and routes to give us a private view of the wildlife. Highly recommend!
